The Princess
once upon a time
a beautiful princess
sat by the window
looking into the distance
for a young prince
to sweep her away
from mundane castles
and skies always gray
she looked high and low
but no such luck
he never appeared
and she felt stuck
but to her surprise
her prince was there
right by her side and she
didn't have to look elsewhere
so he took her hand and
they left for adventures
with him she found love
and memories to treasure
she is no longer at the window
looking for her one
instead she is with him
running towards the sun
