The Girl With A Head Of Feathers

Once upon a time,

A girl with a head of feathers

Never alone she wandered the streets of her world,

As the wilted soil of the earth kissed her feet,

She captured their attention with her smile of pearls,

And the ambiance around she forced to be,

Once upon a time,

Mysterious girl with a head of feathers.

The wind crept its way into her waterfall skirt,

One set of fingers were run along the chilled structure's rock,

The others climbed the flesh trunk of her temple,

Tucking away the group of feathers she had weaved into her brown locks,

Once upon a time,

This girl with a head of feathers.

Everyone was mesmerized by her carefree spirit,

Her absent trained conscious and lack of fear,

Her colorful collection of hundreds of feathers,

And how her fanciful whispers tickled their ears.

Once upon a time,

Beautiful girl with a head of feathers.

Her own voices consuming control and guiding her in life,

By every soul in proximity she was desired and adored,

They lusted over her presence, such a addictive sight.

And pondered how it was possible to be so pleasantly pure.

Once upon a time,

Their girl with a head of feathers.

They didn't dare to question her,

Their minds reassured them that she couldn't do wrong nor rage,

Because so easily she had penetrated and claimed victory over their hearts,

But you can paint over coal, and monsters can be caged.

Once upon a time,

Just a girl with a head of feathers.

You see it was almost as though she was catering glasses of wine,

And only a handful of occurrences had she slipped or spilled.

Yet few had overcome their eyes to recognize her alias of lies,

That there was one feather for each bird that she had killed.

Once upon a time,

The girl with a head of feathers.
