Chapter 30 (Keeley POV)

“Guys, where the fuck are we going?” Mars whined as he stumbled along in his blindfold. Milo was leading him on one side, Wes on the other.

“Shut up, you’ll love me when you see where we are” Milo grumbled, annoyed with Mars’ constant whining. I opened up the old, wooden door and we ushered Mars inside. The sound of bad karaoke and the smell of old alcohol hit my senses. It was dark inside the bar, but slightly crowded. Neon signs hung behind the bar counter along with a large mirror.

“3… 2… 1!” Stiles counted down.

“Happy Birthday Mars!” we all yelled as Milo removed the blindfold. I watched as confusion spread across his face, then pure, unbridled joy.

“You guys brought me to a bar?!”

“Happy 21st buddy” Milo gave Mars a quick ‘man hug’, then Mars turned to all of us. “

Thanks guys!” he exclaimed. “Now, who wants drinks?” Milo and Stiles raised their hands, but Wes and I didn’t.

“Alright I’ll get the drinks” Mars smiled, and then sundered off towards the bar. Wes was staring intently at the karaoke machine.

“Hey, I’ll be right back, ok Keels?” he said, kissing my forehead sweetly, and then smiling at me adoringly.

“Ugh, enough with the lovey-dovey shit already” Stiles groaned. I just rolled my eyes and took the seat next to Stiles.

“So, how’s life?” I asked him jokingly.

“Eh, you know, kickin’ ass and takin’ names” he replied.

“Just the usual?” I teased.

“Of course, oh, look, Mars and Milo at it again” he laughed and nodded towards the other two hunters hitting on two very attractive women.

“Guess you’re not getting that drink.”

“Nah, I guess I’ll live though.”

“Just a guess?”

“Yea not all of us are as awesome as miss ‘breakout surfer of the year’” he joked. It’d been a week since the CT’s and I was still on cloud nine.

“I guess not everyone is as awesome as me” I smirked.

“You want food?” Stiles asked randomly.

“Yea, um sure?” I said and gave him a questioning look.

“What? I just saw some chicken strips, they looked good” he shrugged.

“Yea, ok I want food then” I replied.

“I’ll be right back” he said, then slid off the stool, leaving me alone.

“Hello? Can everybody hear me?” a voice I recognized came over the karaoke speakers. I whipped around to face the stage, and to see Wes sitting there, microphone in hand. Oh god he’s never sang in public before…

“Hi guys. This song is for my beautiful, amazing girlfriend. And Keeley…” his blue eyes locked on mine. “I love you.”

I gasped. Weston Perry loves me, he’s truly in love with me…. Exactly as I am with him. Before I could say anything, the song took over the speakers.

“Girl I’d steal the Mona Lisa, but I know I wouldn’t keep her, cause I wake up next to you everyday, I’d buy the Taj Mahal, never visit it at all, if that’s the only price I gotta pay, cause I’ve never loved anything like I love you, like I love you” Wes’ perfect voice floated down from the speakers.
