I look down at my hands as I sit in the lower decks of the castle. Its been two months since I gained these powers and let me tell you it hasn't been the easiest time in the world. I've almost froze dishes infront of Hunk, Pidge has almost startled me into a throne of ice, Allura and Coran thought I was getting 'sick' again (they don't anymore), and lastly Keith and Shiro have been pretty oblivious to me since we had our first meeting with the Blade of Marmora. Geez, its been at least four or five months since we first ran into Ulaz, but now that we have fixed the tracking issue, we all have agreed to give the Marmora a visit. We also opted to fly most of the way over and then do a small jump to the coordinates we have to help Allura rest. We haven't been using the wormhole much at all lately, but the effects were still visible on her. Her skin tone was paler then usual and she was still weak, but with every day that passed, she was slowly getting better. However due to the vast amount of battles and lack of rest we've all had, everyone has been let off of training for this week. So what do I do? I hide in the basement of a floating space castle and play with magical ice powers. If there has been one thing I have learned in the past two months its these three very important rules:
1. Do not assume I have complete control 100% of the time over my powers,
2. Any little thing I do could possibly be a red flag to the others and allow them to find out about my powers,
3. Loosing my cool equals ice everywhere.
I honestly doubt I will ever be able to move past the last rule, but I hope that number one and two can, one day, be crossed off my list of rules. For that last one though, I have had quite the time, especially with Pidge. The little gremlin can sneak into any room and scare grown men off their feet, but despite that, what moved me to write the list was actually due to Shiro. I was feeling pretty confident with my control over my powers and had decided to practice inside of my room, which was a big mistake because Shiro had knocked on my door to talk about training. Between forgetting that I had locked it and being startled by the noise, I ended up freezing my whole room in a panic and ironically enough slipped, fell, and managed to play it off as just being startled and knocking something over. I don't think he really bought it, but he accepted it and walked away thus leaving me where I currently am, sitting in the middle of the hallway of an abandoned housing block.
Coran had came over the sound system to announce that we would be doing the jump in a few vargas and to be ready in armor when we arrived. I leaned against the wall turning my attention back to the ice that surrounded my hands. It is real easy to form, but I still haven't got the hang of getting rid of it so I haven't tried anything large scale. So far, I could make something as big as hunk and get rid of it, but that was a struggle in itself. Also, I was slowly figuring out how to use it as a weapon, in the event I lost my Bayard. Letting the others know about this with the lack of control I have is the last thing I wanted to do, but a war is a war. It didn't matter what I want, its what is best for the team, the family, and the mission. Sighing, I slowly stood up, determined to get better but alas, I felt the ship start the jump and I shoved my hands in my pockets running out of time yet again. This seems to be a running theme for me because just as I finished putting on my armor, we arrived at the home base for the Blade.

We all knew this wasn't going to end well as we saw Allura march back into the bridge. She seemed uneasy since we all found out Keith was part Galra, but now that she had walked Kolivan out, she seemed furious. I saw Shiro try to stop her but that didn't work, it was never going to work. This is Allura after all and I'm pretty sure she could eaily throw Shiro out the room from how easy she shoved him to the side.
"HOW COULD YOU!" She yelled as she stormed right up to Keith, "You've been working with the enemy this whole time and you dare to come make a fool out of us?!" Allura shoved him to be pulled back by Shiro.
