My Undead Guardian
Scene 1: Reborn (part 1 Maria)
I am known by many names, some call me Victoria, some Karen, and those who almost know me... they call me a witch but none of them are real, not even close. My real name is Maria Odrey Suncrest, my family is well known in our world but not in the other.
My life is very normal. (If you are a person whose life always hangs on a thread, and everyday full of life threatening situations and magic.)
"Pretty farfetched right?" I know you'll say it's cool or what not, but it isn't...
All I wanted is a normal life, very peaceful and simple like the human's.
So one day I planned to my father (The King) to make a request, but it's not that easy to talk to him since he has a lot of things to take care of as I am stuck in my room doing nothing but practice my incantations and reading books like. "The Science of Magic for Dummies." Like a dummy, finally I decided to go to my father's study where I think is where he is right now, as I was on the door I began to feel scared my heart is pounding but I took a deep breath and opened the door.
My dad was inside thankfully but I saw he was troubled. He looked at me then he changed his expression trying to mask something.
"Ah, my little girl what's wrong?" he asked as if I was the one troubled.
"Father, may you hear my request?" I asked.
His expression was amused as if I said something funny.
"I'm listening my dear, looks like you have something big in mind."He said.
It took all my will power to say it. "I would like to experience going into a human school."
He paused for a while staring at me like I said the most terrifying thing that he heard.
"Maria what you ask is dangerous." He said.
"But dad, we've been in so many countries and I wasn't caught even once." I said.
"Well how about that time in on the pyromancer's territory?"He suggested.
"But that was an accident." I replied.
"Yes, Lumina expel accident."He said.
"Please dad, I'll Keep practicing my incantations and I'll keep a low profile and not to get attached to someone..."I said. As I tried my secret weapon the Innocent look.
He looked at me for a moment like His problem earlier was been resolved and finally he spoke."Alright, but you know how I feel about you being, Unguarded, so..."
"I will take spike, as my part time guardian."I interrupted then from the corner spike rose and wagged his tail and barked.
He laughed "Alright off you go dear be careful."He said.
I smiled and kissed him. "Thanks daddy I love you!" I said before I ran to the door with spike.
I head towards my room to prepare but I stumbled across Miss Kristine on the way there.
"Oh Mistress Mary I told you not to run on the family hall, you might get hurt." She said.
"Miss Kristine, I'm going to a human school!"I announced with glee.
We both paused then we hugged as we jumped to the halls with glee.
"Oh Mistress, I'm happy for you, but it also means that you are leaving me."She said.
"Don't worry Miss Kristine; you can visit me anytime you want."I replied.
"Tell me if you find love in the process."She said tauntingly.
