Scene 10: Hidden Emotions (Maria)
My emotions was off the charts last night I didn’t know what came over me I didn’t know why I felt that way, maybe It’s because when I’m with him everything seems so safe like beside him I feel I could get away with everything his optimism that helps me go through the day and his gentleness and cluelessness that attracts me NAAHHH I don’t get it why do I feel this way to add it up that embarrassing accident in my room, that is so embarrassing that’s why I couldn’t think straight in the hallway, the last couple of days it was bearable but now just the site of him makes my heart race I want to push him away but when he’s not there I can’t stand it WAAHH what is this! So when I was on the dinning hall I tried my hardest to direct my attention towards Mom.
While mom was discussing about the plan she noticed me playing with my spoon.
“Dear are you alright.” She asked.
“Yeah, I was listening umm we need to come together and awaken the spirits right?” I asked.
“Yes, the 6 main spirits of the earth, light, dark, air, water, fire, and earth we need to find all of them.” Mom said.
“How would we know or how would we awaken them?” I asked.
“First you guys must learn the thing the oracles eat sleep breathe with since I was appointed by the spirits. The first prophecy, the alpha.” Mom said.
She summoned her staff and waved it and a projection was created in the middle of the table I see a dark sphere hovering on an empty space then it formed while mom talks.
“The alpha, long ago in an unknown source of power started to create nothingness, Void then he created the beginning alpha who saw the possibilities that could thrive in it he started creating the spirits and of course darkness, Shadow then came light, Lumina, the husband and wife patrons, then they created there children, fire, Flame, water, Hydra, earth, Geo and lastly Aria, wind. The spirits were assigned to rule the earth and cradle the living things that later Alpha had created, But legend has it one race shall spark the end the creation of Omega, when they had killed each other for dominion and lines were formed and even the spirit’s powers were used for evil rather than good, to stop the spirits from being corrupted Void created there Anti beings called apparitions. Abyss for Shadow, Radiance for Lumina, Blaze for Flame, Enchanter for Hydra, Epicenter for Geo and Specter for Aria. Thanks to them there was balance but it didn’t stop the war, now mankind has created two sides good and evil that battled endlessly throughout life itself, the spirits locked within the fate of battle until the last prophecy Armageddon the final battle between the opposing forces and the created Omega shall rise and will take mankind back to Void no one is spared it is to cleanse the world and build anew.” Mom said.
The image flickered and changed again into a place that doesn’t look like it could be found on earth, It was a beautiful forest lush and sprouting with life, but the living creatures were like ghosts, and we saw a circle that rests on top of the hill, it contains the spell circle of each element that is circled surrounding the sun and moon.
“This is Spirit Valley, the afterlife. The spirit’s home.” Mom said.
We stared in awe. “Now the biggest question is where are the spirits.” She said.
The Image showed that once every a full moon the spirits came and step on the circle and disappear, and they saw pictures of memories of infants born that night.
“So you mean that they sleep inside people?” I asked.
“Yes precisely and watch this.” Mom said.
When it was Aria’s turn it showed a memory of Verra’s mom and Dad Verra sat upright and a strong wind blew and the image of Aria covered Verra. “Our patron sleeps inside me?” She asked Mom nodded.
