Scene 16: The Battle in Calamity Island Part 1 (Maria)
We were standing on the border of Sky City but before we throw ourselves into the water we had a little planning.
“Alright listen up we rest in the water, and we surface when night falls then we sneak into the woods hopefully undetected and we go to sheer drop canyons, see easy.” Verra said.
“More like easier said than done look.” Aqua said.
We saw the Island still far in the horizon but when we looked down the water was already crawling with enemy ships like the island was being attacked.
“Oh my goodness, looks like we have trouble.” I said.
“What now? If we don’t stop those ships then there will be no sheer drop canyons.” Verra said.
“Plan B I guess…” I said reluctantly.
“And Plan B is…” Aqua asked.
“Dive in and sink them from there.” Vincent said.
“What Dude you are so reckless.” Aqua said.
I hit Vincent in the noggin to knock some sense into the guy.
“OWWW alright I was just kidding.” He said.
But luckily we didn’t have to King Sora run with his army of Aeromancers behind him and they approached us.
“Alright guys listen up, change of plans, your mother foresaw this and she just breezed message me, she said they are coming with the Aquamancers and we shall attack when a signal light is fired.” He said.
“Wow that was convenient.” I said.
“Alright oracles!” Verra said.
“But we have one problem.” King Sora said.
“What is that dad?” Verra asked.
A giant fireball just sailed above the city missing it only by meters. “That” He replied.
“Oh” Verra said.
“We need to hold them off till back up arrives.” King Sora said.
“This is bad.” Vincent said.
“Nonsense young man you haven’t seen this old man fight.” He said.
He looked up in the sky and he chanted. “Step through the skies thy brilliant breeze through the storm I beseech you Lend me thy powers!”
The sky became dark a storm brew and the wind howled.
“Step through the skies, Aria’s rage!” He shouted.
A Giant tornado devastated the enemies there ship was powerless against the great tornado, and in just minutes the king closed his fist and the weather turned back to normal the sea was cleansed of enemies what remained was ship wrecks and swimming enemies, for once things looked good but not for long, one Aeromancer ran towards the king and he spoke. “Your highness the lightning palace is heading this way.” He said.
People began to feel troubled even the King was but he stood forward and shouted. “Alright Men we are in for a big fight but we will win this! The spirits are in our side now, we will show the enemies that we can be as fast as them and we are just as strong!” He shouted and they cheered.
We saw a nimbus cloud fast approaching it was huge and as it came closer we saw a city like the sky city, but it is radiating light like it was purely made out of lightning and in a heartbeat we saw Electromancers charging this way.
