Scene 8: The Missing Leader. (Maria)
As we stepped through the portal everyone stopped from there discussion and walking around and they all faced me, they went silent and nobody spoke a single word.
“Guys where is my father?” I asked hoping nothing bad has happened, but they bowed there heads and they were even more quiet nobody dared to answer me.
“What’s wrong guys?” I asked again.
Still no response. I didn’t want to use this kind of tone but I was forced to do so.
“I demand an explanation right now!” I shouted.
They all tensed and finally Ms. Kristine stepped up and talked to me.
“Mistress your father is currently been kidnapped, and we are now in pursuit.” She said carefully.
“My father got kidnapped?!” I shouted.
“Yes mistress, we’re very sorry.” Ms. Kristine said.
My emotions got mixed up I panicked. “W-who is responsible for this who are the kidnappers?!” I asked.
Gabriel slowly went towards me. “Mistress Gabriel sent our army after them but I but I still got no report please calm down.” He said in an intimidated manner.
“Damn it Dad!” I shouted.
I was enraged and I stormed towards his study Verra and the others followed. As I went in I saw the place was trashed, The door was blasted opened its barrier was gone, the windows were broken and the shards was all over his work desk his staff was gone and his chair was flipped over I examined the place long and hard but Vincent tapped me in the shoulder and I looked at him. “Mistress I sense that the culprit is not far away. Shall I go and stop them?” He asked his expression was dead serious his chocolate brown eyes flares up I never seen him like this it was a whole new Vincent.
“Bring me with you.” I said.
He looked uncertain but he nodded. “Of course Mistress.” He said as he offered his back, but before we could go Verra held my hand.
I looked at her. “Maria be careful this is no easy matter we are talking about people who are capable of taking your dad on please don’t be reckless.” Verra said.
I nodded. “I’ll follow I’ll go summon Ageroth.” She continued as she finally lets go of my hand and she ran outside and spike followed her.
“Let’s go Vincent.” I said.
“Hang on mistress.” He said.
We took off like a bullet shot in the air through the broken window, and we soared across the sky through the castle and into the busy village where some people stare at us as we passed by, we went to the forest located south of the village and into the border where we saw many men lying on the ground, we flew down and checked.
They were all unconscious but luckily I saw one who is still awake. I rushed towards him, he was panting for air and he stopped when he saw me and Vincent. “Your highness it’s too dangerous out here, there is a woman and a man with incredible strength that took the king you must get away.” He said.
I healed him and he started to stabilize, “Listen to me soldier I want you to go back and ask help report this to my mother if you see her, now tell me where this pair is headed.” I said.
“They are heading south towards the sea.” He said.
“Thanks soldier.” I said.
Vincent and I flew and head south. “Vincent could those people be them?” I asked.
