Scene 11: Unison (Vincent)
Maria finally came from that tree it seems like She and Verra was talking of something intense but it’s best not to butt in. I noticed that Maria has been changing since the day that my dad attacked us in the forest, she seems more open and kind I don’t understand but for some reason everything she does seems so sweet that it made me more protective towards her. She smiled at me and spoke. “Let’s try again.” She said with more confidence.
“Roger” I said.
I concentrated my mind on the requirements, the contract between her and I, Second a deep connection, she is my first friend and lastly the last I suddenly heard her voice and we said in unison. “I want to protect the one who is closest to my heart!”
We started chanting. “Two hearts beat as one two minds as one, through the pact we share let our souls merge! Soul Link Fusion!”
I felt my heart beat and hers beat as one, our minds are one and I felt her feelings and I can hear her thoughts like it was my own, and as I open our eyes I saw mom smiling, Verra was grinning and Aqua dumfounded, It made me conscious about how I turn out maybe it was a fail.
“Umm guys why are you staring at me funny?” I asked.
“Well you look stunning dear.” Mom said.
“Seriously?” I asked, a cold breeze just passed by and I felt it in my belly and legs.
I looked at what I am wearing and I saw that I was armored on the top but only on my chest and I was wearing a skirt that only extends to my knee my shoes were steel that has wings on the back, I saw a gauntlet on my right and a spear on the left, although I was right handed the spear is still movable and comfortable, I felt my hair and it was neatly fixed in a tiara that is made out of metal.
“Ok this is very revealing.” I said, and I noticed that my voice was blended with Maria’s but hers were dominant.
“You look awesome!” Verra said.
I saw that Verra wore an armor that covered her whole body but it cuts on her belly, wings on her back, shoulder plates and a cloth that hangs on the center of the waist to the knee she has armored pants and shoes gauntlets on both hands and a tiara with a dragon’s head on the center.
“You too buddy.” I said.
“Thanks” she said.
“Guys don’t forget about me.” Aqua said in a disturbed tone like he was speaking while submerged in water.
And we saw his body was made entirely out of water in a shape of a muscular man a big trident like staff on his hand.
“Whoa cool!” He said.
Mom clapped and we directed our attention at her. “Very good guys, now we test your mobility, walk towards the gate where Gabriel is and say hello to him and run back here as fast as you can and we did, as we walk I start to notice that it felt like it was walking submerged in mud, I looked at Verra and Aqua and they seem to suffer the same thing.
“Hey guys why is it hard to walk?” I asked.
“I don’t know.” Verra said.
Out of nowhere my mom appeared. “Remember you guys have to act as one even the way you walk must be at sync.” Mom said.
Maria and I stopped. I closed my eyes and I could see her. “Maria this is an odd question but which leg do you walk with first?” I asked.
“Well I always start with my right.” She said. “That’s why I start with my left.” I said.
