Scene 17: The Precursor of War (Vincent)
That battle was intense, our emotions were just the same Maria and I had one goal, and that is to bring our fathers back but we failed and that is the bitter reality.
I can’t remember what happened after that, we passed out I think and I had that weird nightmare, yeah that’s what happened.
I heard a voice that is calling me. “Vincent, Vincent”
I opened my eyes and I saw a blue background with clouds and the sun, I stood but I realized I was floating, I looked down and I saw a verdant forest, it was crawling with life and in the horizon I saw a waterfall, but the source was unknown I looked and it was so high that it was hidden in the clouds.
“Vincent, soon this world would start Armageddon, and you will start it, you the last spirit to be found the final key to Armageddon, with your sacrifice will Omega rise, with your sacrifice will reseal the door.” It said.
“Is this about Maria’s dream?” I asked.
“No this is what my wife foresaw.” The voice said.
And in front of me I saw the shadow that has been visiting me. “Who are you?” I asked.
“Do you not know the prophecy?” He asked.
“Excuse me, I am not a mage.” I said.
“No but you have heard of this, I am Shadow, Lumina’s husband.” He said.
“Wow, you know it’s quite odd for the spirit of darkness to fall in love with the spirit of light.” I said.
Shadow laughed. “And it is quite odd for a mere normal human being to fall in love with a paladin princess, don’t you think.” He said.
I scratched my head in agreement. “Touché” I said.
“Yes and the serendipitous part is you fell in love with my Wife’s reincarnation on earth.” He said.
“Wait? Reincarnation?” I asked.
“Yes when my wife foresaw the waking of the anti beings and alpha has commanded our very long battle, she alerted us and the only solution we have in mind is go to earth and fight for the last time, to stop Void from coming.” He said.
“Wait by Armageddon will Omega come and Void will claim the earth?” I said.
“No that prophecy wasn’t finish, and that brings us to the reason I called you.” He said.
I kept silent, and he showed me a church beyond the falls. “Tell my wife that they need to find the secrets of the earth that she herself hid from herself.” He said.
“Is it in that church?” I asked.
“Oh, how should I know? My wife is that secretive, she even kept Flame as a secret from me.” He said.
He was about to leave but I asked one more thing. “Mister Shadow, may I ask something?”
He looked back. “What boy?”
“You said back then I would be yours, what do you mean by that?” I asked.
“Oh boy you are so dense, my wife forbids direct answers but I’ll make an exception, you will die for the third time boy.” He said.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“Oops I can’t say more, my wife is listening.” He said as he left.
“Warn them, when they find what I asked you to find them, the war shall start and nothing will ever be the same.” He said.
I jolt up and I realized that Maria jolted up too. “That Idiot, He almost gave the crucial part of the prophecy.” Maria uttered in a different voice.
