Emily looked at her phone as she dialed Ed's number. He was coming home tomorrow like she was, but he kept it a secret that he got himself a ticket a day early, so he could surprise her at the airport. She was coming home the same day from Florida, but she'd be there before he would.
"Hey, Emily."
"Hi, Ed. So tomorrow, I will be landing at three and you'll be landing at six-thirty." She informed him.
"Right." He replied. "You'll land before me but I'll try and get you flowers before I see you. Either that or I can run into your arms at the gate." Emily laughed at his words.
"I did that one time!" She said while laughing.
"And you knocked me over!" He laughed, remembering this time in Atlanta. "I can't wait to see you, Emily. I miss you."
"I miss you too, Ed. Just one more day." She said. He nodded.
"Ed," Stu said walking to him. "Time go to." Ed nodded with a smile.
"I've gotta go, Emily." He said. "I love you."
"I love you too, Eddy." She told him. "Bye."
"Bye." Ed looked at Stu.
"Emily misses you?" Stuart asked.
"As much as I miss her."
"That's a lot, considering you keep a picture of her in your pocket." She told him.
"Yeah. But I think It's different for her. She doesn't exactly... I don't think she's used to being away from someone for so long."
"Whys that?" Stu asked.
"Before me... she didn't care much for people and their well-being. She never felt like she needed to be loved by anyone. She has that issue. But its gotten better. She was always nice but she didn't really realize that people liked her. Her friends and she were close but she parted her own way of travel. I mean, forty-three countries she visited by twenty years old. She's used to being alone. But since Emily has loved me... Emily felt missed."
Stu nodded. "Then go get on a plane and surprise her." Stu encouraged. He smiled lightly.
"I think I will."

Ed hustled through the airport with his guitar and flowers in his hand. A tiny stage was set up for Ed to sing. He had a plan. As Emily walked out of the gate, there was a sign with her name on it. She would walk under it, and people held up signs. Ed would be singing into a microphone connected to the intercom. Ed timed it perfectly, so when she reached the end of the line of people, she would see Ed, and the song would've just ended.
"Sure everything ready?" Stuart asked Ed. Ed nodded. "Alright."
"Flight number two hundred seven landing. Miami Florida, USA." Ed grinned. Every person had a tiny camera attached to them so Ed could look back at this recording, remembering what he did for her.
"Across the sea," Emily's head shot up from her phone. She saw the banner and people motioning to her, showing her to go their way.
"Ed?"
"By the Tennessee skyline, they told me I'd find my hopes and my dreams." A grin spread across her face as she started to walk between the two lines of people.
"But I'd long to be, in the bed of my true love, back where I came from, she's waiting for me." Emily smiled hurried. "So I'll make my way, through long winding country roads. But my heart still beats, for my home and my English rose."
