Ed sighed as his phone rang. "Nina I already broke up with you." He groaned.

"Ed when I complained about you being away, you hated it. When Emily complained, you told her you still wanted her." Nina explained. Ed hesitated on his words.

"Emily... Emily is different-"

"Why? Because you're crazy about her? Because she's the one you're obsessed with? Because she's you're one? Because she's Emily?" Ed froze. "It's exactly that. You're crazy about her. And she's moving on clearly! Ed, you need to-!"

"Do I need to?"

"Yes!" She shouted. He sighed and there was a long pause.

"You should go, Nina. I ain't ever coming home." He told her. "I'm too busy with other stuff. I'm busy with Emily, busy with touring, busy writing songs." He smiled lightly. "Yeah, you should go."

"You are so selfish, Ed!" She told him.

"Guess it's true but I can't help it." He shrugged. She scoffed.

"Ed-"

"Nina, we aren't meant to be. Love will come and love will go, but you can make it on your own."

"But-"

"I met you when I was a teen but then you were one as well. And honestly, teen relationships don't really work out."

"You and Emily got pregnant as teens! You think that's gonna work out?" Ed paused.

"Did you just use my son against me?" Ed asked.

"Ed... I..." He hung up on her immediately. He sighed.

"Edward I promised myself almost three years ago that I would love you no matter what. She will never, ever say that to me again."

"Aunt Emily?" Jonah asked. Emily looked down as she walked on the street with her nieces and nephew.

"Yeah?"

"Has Ed moved on?" Jonah asked. Emily looked at him and saw the girls looking at her too, even Amelia, who was holding her hand. Especially Amelia.

"I-I... I doubt it." Emily shook her head. "He isn't that type." She explained. "The type that moves on quickly. And if he has... it's probably over already."

"Why?" Sam asked. She hesitated.

"I don't know. But Ed is very committed. And I am too. That's why I' trying to get in a new relationship. With Bryce." Emily stated as she pointed to Bryce who was standing outside the restaurant door. "He's cute, isn't he?" Emily asked smiling.

"Not as cute as Ed," Amelia said looking up at her.

"Well, bear with it," Emily told her.

"But I don't want to," Amelia replied. Emily sighed.

"Neither do I." Emily thought to herself, not daring to say a word. She saw Bruce at the door and smiled. "Bryce, this is Jonah, Sam, and Amelia," Emily said smiling. "My nieces and my nephew."

"Hi, guys! I'm Emily's... man friend." He looked up at Emily as she lightly laughed.

"You can say 'boyfriend' you know? Our parents got married when they were sixteen and had Jonah at seventeen." Amelia said. Emily pursed her lips and hid her smile.

"Amelia Olive," Emily sighed shaking her head lightly.

"It's alright," Bryce replied with a smile.

After about an hour, Emily's phone rang. It was Rosalie. "I've got to take this," Emily said hiding the number. Bryce nodded and she left for the restroom.
