Emily was worried sick. After Ed and she decided to move to New York, New York, Emily hadn't been the same she sold her home in Hawthorne City, though she could afford four homes and still be rich without Ed in her life.

Emily sat on the bed of the flat they shared and looked out the window. Ed walked a bit closer to her.

"You alright?" Ed asked. Emily looked at Ed and nodded.

"Just... not used to it. That's all. I've been here before, but... not lived here." Ed sighed and sat next to her.

"Emily, we didn't have to," Ed said.

"No, I want to, no doubt! It's just... different than London and Galway and Hawt-" Ed broke her off with a kiss.

"How about we... how about we just go drive around? Yeah?" Emily nodded.

"Yeah. Th-That sounds nice." Emily nodded again. "That sounds really nice, actually."

Ed smiled. "Good." He replied, standing up and taking her hand. They walked out of their flat and grabbed a taxi.

"Where to?"

"Just drive around," Ed replied with a smile and his arm around Emily. He looked at her face. "It'll be fun. We could visit any place you'd like." Emily smiled lightly and he kissed her temple. "I love you."

"I love you too, Eddy," Emily said back, smiling at Ed. He poked at her cheek, being the childish man he was. SHe chuckled, but her smile faded. "I left my pills at home. I haven't taken them yet-!" Her head whipped around she looked out the car window.

"Hey, it's OK. Can one day be so terrible!" Emily nodded violently.

"Yes! I-I-I-I don't know if I'll have an outburst or if I could start to do crazy things or... I might even hurt you the way I was hurt. That's what happens. The doctor told me that I would always have to take them."

"Emily, one night? I think you'll be OK. I'm right here too. If I'm next to you, I know you'll be OK." Ed nodded. "Hey, why don't we go to a dive bar or something?" Ed asked. "That'd be fun, eh?" Emily nodded, faking a smile. Ed sighed.

"Emily... I know it's different here. I know it. But-" Emily cut him off with a kiss.

"I love it here. Why? Because I have you. That's all I need. I'm crazy about you and I'm blessed to have you crazy about me. Thank you." Emily smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Emily finished her fifth drink with a grin. People stared at her as she chugged another beer, her body able to contain that much.

"I sometimes forget you can handle all of that..." Ed said slowly. Emily didn't even have a buzz.

"Ah, thank you, young man!" Emily giggled.

"I'm older."

"By what? Not even two weeks?"

"We came to dry your eyes, love. You certainly enjoy this more than I expected." Emily shrugged.

Emily was back to her normal state as Ed and she walked down the street, hand in hand. She looked around, tugging on her black sweatshirt. Ed smiled lightly. "Can we go home?" Emily asked Ed.

"You sound like a little kid in a car." Ed joked, laughing. He looked at her serious expression and stopped. "Do you wanna go home so soon?" Emily nodded and looked down.

"Yeah, I'm just kind of tired, that's all." Emily shrugged.

Ed sighed. "I know you're not." Emily sighed too.
