I smiled at his comment. It was really kind of him to try to put me up like that, even though I still felt like a burden. He gave me a cheesy grin which made me smile a little bigger.

Then I remembered my dream again. The Xelor reaching out for me, apologizing... Why? Was it actually a dream, or more of a memory?

"Something wrong?" Astred asked, I assumed she had noticed my facial expression drop.

I turned and smiled at her sweetly, "yeah, I'm just thinking is all! I think I found a clue about my parents actually, or at least my mum that is... Maybe..."

"A clue?" Aster asked confused as he cocked his head to the left side like he was a lost puppy. "What do you mean by that?"

"Er... It's probably nothing..." I replied softly, "just forget about it. Sorry."

"No need to be sorry Miss Kaido," Astred explained and gave me one of her cute smiles.

"Huh?" I questioned, "y-you really don't have to call me, 'miss,' we're friends, right?"

She nodded, "yeah. I didn't mean for it to be rude!" Her voice was still soft and sweet. I noticed Paku, my Tofu, flew out of my pocket and nudged her cheek playfully yet kindly.

"He likes you!" I chuckled looking at her and at Paku as well. Kinda like a dog, it seemed like Paku could sense good from bad, but then, why did he seem almost afraid of Aster? I just shrugged off the question my mind had come up with and continued to smile at Astred. She seemed to be enjoying the little bird creature snuggling up against her. I wonder if she's a nature type of gal.

"Gee," Aster sighed as he sat down on the ground with his legs crossed and his right elbow on his right knee, with his head resting against his palm. "How long does it take for them to get a boat? You'd think with all of them working together they'd have one by now." He seemed incredibly bored as his voice was surprisingly dull. I'd never heard him speak so dully before, it was kinda strange. Paku left Astred and flew next to me before perching on top of my violet purple hat.

"Well," Astred began softly, like normal, "there was that big problem with everyone hating the idea of Oma Island..." She paused for a minute and then looked down before sitting on her knees, "it makes me kind of nervous honestly," as she spoke her voice seemed to get quieter.

"Awe," Aster spoke, "don't worry! Kaido and I will be there to protect you little sis!"

"Yup!" I agreed 100% with Aster, but I'd do anything to protect my friends, even if I had to sacrifice myself for them.

"Thanks guys!" Astred said as I sat down with them.

We all sat in silence for a while, none of us knew what to talk about I guess, that is until Aster decided to finally speak, "do you remember what happened before we found you?" He asked, "if someone tried to hurt you, we need to know, so we can stop them if they did."

"Oh." I said, "I'm sure it was nothing. Probably just a creep. It'll be fine." I was hoping he would just drop it, but of course he wouldn't.

"So someone did hurt you! He said and slammed his fist into his hand as if he wanted to beat someone. "When the others get here, we'll find him and make him pay!"

"I'm sure it's okay guys!" I said waving my hands out in front of me, "he probably won't be a problem when we leave the city."

"What makes you so sure?" Aster asked folding his arms.

I sighed rather quietly, "I cannot say for sure." I replied simply, "but city folk can be pretty rude sometimes."

"Yeah but-" Aster started, but I cut him off, "no. It doesn't matter so just drop it. Besides, I think him hurting me may have helped me, so just drop it." I didn't realize how stern I had sounded though until I saw the hurt look on Aster's face and noticed Astred move back a little. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so rude." I said quietly, but none of them spoke to me.

We sat there for a few uncomfortable hours before it started to get dark. I wanted to go off and find the others, but I didn't want to cause any more problems. By this time, Aster had gotten up and began to pace around us, he was either bored or getting nervous about the others.

After about another ten minutes or so I could hear familiar voices off in the distance.

"That's them!" Aster cheered and we all got up to walk over to Ruel, Yugo, Eva, Amalia, and Dally.

"Kaido!" Dally cheered, "I'm glad you're okay!" The comment made me smile until I took a closer look at everyone.

They all looked beaten and bruised. "What happened to you?!" I asked shocked.

"It's a long boring story, I'll spare you the details." Eva said sounding exhausted.

"We kicked butt is what happened!" Yugo cheered excitedly.

"It looks like you all got beaten!" Astred gasped quietly with a worried expression on her face.

"I'm on it!" Aster said completely ripping off Reyn from Xenoblade Chronicles, "Astred you take care of the girls, I've got the guys!"

The Eniripsa twins both began to do their work and within a few minutes everyone was healed. Eva asked me if I was okay and I nodded my head, everyone seemed happy that I was okay. I noticed Paku and Az were playing together and Yugo was laughing at them.

"Well Amalia told some stupid Iop head that I'd go on a date with him, so I have to go." Eva said seeming irritated, "but the rest of you find a place to get some sleep and we'll leave in the morning, now that we enough Kama." With that, Eva walked away.

"Totally not fair." Dally complained, "I saw her first." This caused Aster to burst out laughing while I just gasped and covered mouth to keep from laughing. Anyway, we were standing right next to an inn, so that was where we had decided to fall asleep. It didn't take very long before I was out cold, but I didn't have a dream that nigh
