"A real life dragon! We're so lucky!" Amalia said as Dally waved his sword out happily. But of course, their joy was short lived as the dragon sent a massive blast of fire at all of us.

"Stay behind me!" Dally said and held Rubilax out in front of him to block the fire.

"Dally no!" Eva screamed as we all braced ourselves. I could feel the heat from the fire as I moved my hands toward my face to block it. The blast was huge, I couldn't tell if Dally was going to be okay. We were all grunting as the fire was so powerful it felt like a giant burst of wind had hit us and we had to try really hard not to fall. I could hear Dally screaming though, so at least I knew he was somewhat okay.

The orange flames seemed to trap us all behind Dally. They were as bright as the sun, but as powerful as a God.

"Dally! We have to help him!" Eva said with a worried expression as she looked at us. I noticed Dally seemed to be struggling a lot myself.

"Okay!" Amalia replied as she bent down to touch the ground, her hand had a bright green glow to it for a second before vines spread out and wrapped around the dragons legs, body, and face.

The fire soon let out and Dally fell the the ground. Eva gasped and ran to his side, "We... We can't stay here!" She said, worry showing in her tone.

"What are you doing?!" Rubilax asked. "Free me so I can show you how a ShuShu fights!" Is he crazy?! Why would we release a daemon like him?! As the sword spoke, the dragon began to resist Amalia's vines that were holding it down.

"Where is Ruel?" Eva questioned as she helped Dally onto his feet and let him use her for support. "He always disappears when the going gets tough!"

I looked around when I heard his voice, "This way my friends!" He said, popping out from behind a corner and waving us over with his golden shiny shovel. How is that thing still shiny?

"You fools." The dragon spoke, breaking all the vines that held it down, "Now you will face the wrath of Grougaloragran!"

We all quickly ran behind Ruel, I was behind everyone else as we ran down the narrow hall-like structure that lead to seemingly no where. I heard a loud roar from the dragon and then quickly jumped down along with the others, just in time to narrowly avoid the searing hot flames.

My adrenaline kicked in and I began to run faster than Eva and Dally till I had caught up with Ruel and Amalia. "This way," Ruel said, "He can't follow us!" I nodded and turned back to see Eva and Dally trailing way off behind us. I should've helped them...

By the time they made it back to us we all jumped through the tiny hole in the wall. Lucky that was there otherwise we would have died. I took a deep shaky breath as we all continued to walk. Eventually we made it to a narrow ledge that had dim lighting from slightly glowing yellow stones.

"We're pretty high up..." I said somewhat nervously. I know I have the power to make portals and save myself from falling and all, but I'm still afraid of heights. Pathetic, I know.

"I think we lost it." Ruel said in a hushed voice.

I nodded in agreement as Dally said, "Maybe, but we fled like cowards. That's just not right."

"Yeah. Well, we didn't have much of a choice." I added softly.

We all kept slowly walking along the edge, and it seemed to be bringing us down into some sort of massive room. I wonder if this is the dragons layer. I always just thought they lived in tiny caves like what's shown on My Little Pony.

"Do you think that dragon has anything to do with Yugo?" Amalia asked.

"Speaking of Yugo, we should have found him by now." Eva added on. "And the other two. I'm really worried."

I nodded, "Mhm... I wonder what happened to them. Do you think that dragon found them?" I asked, worried.

"I don't know..." Eva said in an honest tone.

As we continued, we finally made it off the ledge and back onto solid ground. There was a thick fog floating through the air, but it looked more toxic than pure, like clouds. I could hardly see anything besides the four of them, though I did notice giant pillars around that almost looked like enormous mushrooms. I'd never seen anything like it before. Then when I looked back ahead, I could see someone- or- something's head walking over the layer of fog.

"Hey! There's a man! Maybe he can help us!" Percedal said as he waved Rubilax in the air and started calling out to the man. "Might you be able to point us in the direction of the exit please!" He asked.

"By the powers given to me by the Goddess Eliatrope," The strange man started. He had white hair, but overall looked dark and menacing.

My eyes widened, "Goddess Eliatrope?" I questioned, just barely louder than a breath.

The man then started chanting stuff in some sort of language. Kinda like Latin maybe? I dunno, I'm not very good with other languages... (I am though!)

"Shut him up!" Rubi yelled, "Shut him up quickly!"

Just then, a blue shield-like orb surrounded the man. The orb seemed to grow as it pushed the fog away but caused a loud, high pitched noise that hurt our ears as the ground began to shake.

We all cried out in pain and covered our ears.

"What is it?!" Eva asked.

"We have to do something!" Amalia yelled, frightened.

"I can't take my hands from my ears!" Eva replied, "My ear drums will burst!"

"It's the dragon!" Ruel yelled, "He's taken on human form!"

This is not good! My heart began to race as my ears ached. Even with them covered, the sound was still loud. I knew we couldn't fight him off, and I felt frightened. My blood ran cold.

In memory of Patrick Béthune. He did the voice acting of Ruel for the French and he was amazing. He will be missed.

Also, oops! Guess I did leave you off with a cliff hanger. Oh well, see ya next time...
