Haunted Ship

It felt like I had only been sleeping for a near second when I was rudely awaken by the horrible yelling of an old mans voice! I just fell asleep and now that dang Enutroff is yelling! Does he have no respect for anyone?! Word of advice, don't wake me from my slumber, it ticks me off. I shoved the pillow over my ears to try and muffle out the yelling from Ruel so I could hopefully fall back to sleep. However, to my dismay, the girls ran out of bed and pulled me with them. I moaned tiredly very softly before gently rubbing my eyes after the girls let go of my hands.

"What's happening?" The young Eliatrope Yugo asked as I looked over to see him climbing up to the deck where we were all standing. I simply shrugged in response to his question but my focus changed when I heard Eva and Amalia gasp, which caused me to look ahead. Yugo instantly came running up behind me, "whoa! The map!" He gasped, "what happened to it?" I looked back to notice him gaping at the wall with his eyes wide and mouth open. (Then again, that's probably just a really good pausing time on my part...)

"It looks like someone's torn it off..." Eva said softly examining what was left of the map, "and taken bites out of it..."

"What could do something like that?" I chimed in concerned. The thought of maybe a spider or something eating a talking map kind of freaked me out.

"I'm not sure. Probably... Anything." Eva responded. Okay yeah... dumb question on my part, but hey! I'm tired and they woke me up in a bad mood!

"Well it's not so bad, that map was really getting on my nerves!" Amalia stated. He was kinda getting on all of our nerves, but he didn't deserve to die. Is she heartless?! "And it was always complaining." Amalia continued with her princess-like attitude.

Now Ruel wanted a chance, "not afraid of a little competition are we?" He asked and I started giggling quietly because Amalia was always complaining.

"Good one Ruel!" I cheered as her highness growled.

"Man!" I heard Aster yell, he sounded upset at first, "I wish I thought of that one! Dang, you're good Ruel!" He praised with a huge smile on his face. He looked so cheerful and happy it made me smile too. Astred was staying quiet as she stood behind him. I think she was worried or stressed. Her anxiety levels must have been... over 9,000! Gosh... I'm weird when I'm tired... (Forgive me, I'm at school... So embrace my dorkiness.)

Before I fully registered what was going on between Ruel and Amalia, I heard a yell and then the slamming of a bucket on Ruel's head as Amalia brushed off her hands.

"But with out the map, how are we supposed to get to Oma Island?" Yugo inquired observantly. I stayed quiet and looked down not quite sure how to answer that. He made a good point. With out the map we can't really get anywhere.

"What really worries me is that we're not completely alone on this boat." Eva stated shrugging her shoulders.

Then we all heard the soft shy voice of none other than Astred, "that bothers me too." After she said that Yugo came around and gave her a small hug.

"I'm worried too," he said, "with out the map we can't get to Oma, and it does mean that something else is on the ship. But we won't let anything happen to you or anyone!" He let out a huge smile, "we all got each others' backs, so you won't die anytime soon! I promise you!"

"Wait!" Amalia screamed causing poor Astred to flinch, "what do you mean we're not alone?!" The princess was royally freaking out.

"Well the map didn't just tear itself." Eva informed looking intent on figuring out what was in the boat with us. "I'm afraid we have another passenger my friends, and something tells me he's just getting started." Right after she said that, a loud grunt or shout could be heard from deep within the boat. It sent shivers down my spine.

"Guess that's him..." Yugo said seeming a bit overwhelmed.

Just then, Ruel took out his shovel and swung it around him so he could hold it out much like a pirate would do to his sword. "Let's make sure he pays is fair then!" He exclaimed with a determined expression.

After that happened a menacing laughter could be heard, from the same place as the scream. "That came from the reserves." Amalia explained as we all looked down the ladder to the area of the reserves. Eva was the first to climb down, followed by a nervous looking Amalia, whom I followed down so don't ask me for the rest of the order. I wish it was day so we could see easier, but eh, I guess night helps with the creepy mood of everything. As I continued my climb down, I heard a blood curtileng scream of a girl! The noise caused me to flinch and hold on to the ladder tightly. I waited a few seconds before turning me head down and looking back to see what had happened. Oh... It was just Amalia falling. I quickly finished climbing down and looked at Amalia and Eva.

Looking away from them I noticed what had appeared to be blood scattered on the walls of the huge ship, in the dim lighting it was clear that the colour of the substance was red, obviously it was blood. The question is... Who's blood?
