No Kaido! Not like this! I kicked ny legs up hard, tossing the animal over my head as I stood up.

The ravid animal growled at me and attacked again. It moved with unrealistic speed as it swiped its sharp claw at me.

I winced in pain and stumbled back. "Did Nox send you?" I questioned looking around for a brief moment before looking back at the 'mut.' Now that I think about it, I'm kind of a mut too.

I have to wrap this up before the sun gets too hot to even stand in. He seems a lot stronger than most animals, his powers must be amplified by something. If I could just figure it out-

"Nng!" I winced in pain again as he clawed my chest. "That's crossing a line!" I yelled, teleporting behind him and kicking him, but he just shrugged it off.

"I just can't win here, can I?" I asked quietly. "Guess it's time to find Ad and Yugo..." I mumbled quietly before running away. Besides, the sun was getting way too hot. I needed to find shade before I fried to death.

I glanced back and noticed the beast right behind me. My eyes widened again and I quickly teleported to avoid his attack. "I hate this. I'm so weak..." I said, continuing to run away.

In the distance I noticed the white spec of the dragon. "Adamai!" I called, getting his attention right before I made a portal beside him and leaped through. Luckily he was in the shade so the sun wouldn't be a problem.

"Huh? What's wrong?"

"No time!" I yelled, "It's coming!"

"What is..." He asked before looking in the direction I came from. He gaped at the sight of the animal charging toward us. "What is that thing?!" He asked as it attacked and flung him into a bolder.

"Ad!" I yelled moving beside him to make sure he was okay. I looked back at the animal, not sure what to do. Az followed beside me as the beast opened its snout and began to suck in the air. The current was strong so Adamai and I both jumped out of the way, but Az wasn't fortunate enough to avoid it.

"Az!" Adamai and I yelled at the same time, watching the cheetah thing eat Az.

"I don't believe it!" Ad yelled. "Spit him out right now!" He pointed his finger down like a parent lecturing their child. Not that I would know considering I can't remember my parents.

"Yeah! Yugo's going to be angry if he finds out!" I called, not sounding nearly as threatening as Adamai.

The animal growled in response and then charged at us. Adamai took action and began to fight back against him. His hands seemed to glow purple with some sort of dragon magic as the two battled back and fourth. The animal managed to get the best of Adamai and knocked him down. I ran over and tried to fend of the beast so Adamai could get up.

"Kaido! Be careful!" I heard Adamai yell.

"I know!" I responded, avoiding attacks and then trying to punch the beast away. I managed to land a hit, but it only angered the thing. He raised his paw and I wasn't quick enough to move out of the way as he threw me into the canyon wall. I winced slightly and slowly stood up, watching the thing charge at Adamai.

Adamai focused and moved his hands slowly out in front of him. He let out a small battle cry before both him and the rabid beast attacked each other. They spiraled into the air in flashes of magic. I couldn't quite tell who was winning until Ad struck the beast in the stomach and Az came flying out towards me.

"Az!" I gasped as I ran up to the small yellow bird. I grabbed him gently in my hands as Ad ran over to us.

"You're not hurt are you?" He asked the Tofu. Az wobbled as he flew out of my hands, but he rocked back and fourth like he was dizzy. "Go warn Yugo now!" Adamai said, "We're in danger! Quick!" Az did as he was told.
