~Eva's P.O.V. (fogive me if it sucks)~
Kaido was sleeping on her bed, looking a lot more peaceful than last night, which was good. She never told us what her dream was about, but she did say, "I don't want to lose you," quite a lot. She kind of sounded like a broken record doomed to repeat itself for the rest of it's life.
We were all quiet this morning, including Amalia surprisingly, so as to not wake up the poor Eliatrope. I guess we all must have silently agreed that she needed a rest after her break down last night. Though I do have to wonder what that was about...
"Hey guys..." I heard a quiet tired female voice from behind me, "why didn't you wake me?"
I turned around to face the young Eliatrope and was surprised to find her left eye glowing blue. "Kaido! Are you okay?!" I asked worried as the poor girl looked confused and everyone ran over.
"Whoa!" Amalia gasped, "what's going on?"
"Kaido!" Yugo said concerned.
"By Enutroff, what is going on with her eye?!" Ruel chimed in.
"My eye?" Kaido questioned softly.
"It's glowing blue." Astred stated as she tilted her head like a confused puppy.
"That's awesome!" Aster yelled, "do you have some sort of super-hero power you never told us about?!"
~Kaido's POV~
"Do you have some sort of super-hero power you never told us about?!" I heard the over-animated Aster ask very loudly. What are they all talking about? My eye feels fine...
"No..." I responded slowly but the Eniripsa grabbed my hand and pulled me to his face so he could stare into my eyes.
"That's so cool, Kaido!" He cheered, "you have to teach me how you made your eye glow! I could go around scaring everybody if I had a power like that!"
"What is wrong with you?" I asked and lightly pushed him back before turning away from all of them, "I'm fine. I don't know what you guys are talking about."
"Well maybe you should look in a mirror and find out." Amalia said while she shoved a mirror into my face. This girl must just always be prepared with a mirror and makeup or whatever other girly stuff normal girls do.
I sighed as I looked into the mirror. I was surprised to find that they weren't just pulling my strings. My eye was actually glowing! "Wh-what is this?!" I gasped before taking a step back at the realization that it looked kind of like Nox's eyes.
"Hey..." I heard Yugo say softly, "it reminds me a little of..."
"Yeah it does!" Amalia gasped.
"What do you guys mean?" I asked slowly and turned to face them. Could they know about Nox? How?...
"There was sort of a problem with someone in the past." Eva explained, "your eye is glowing an awful lot like his did. Like a Xelor."
Nox was a Xelor... Nox was also a 'he.' "I'm sure it's okay guys!" I said dismissively. "Maybe it'll stop glowing soon..."
"Yeah maybe." Yugo agreed.
Astred looked at me with a worried expression, "I hope you're okay, Kaido." Me too. Honestly, I hope I'm just stuck in another dream.
"Well, we still on course?" Ruel asked talking to Scribble. I'm glad he was past my glowing eye situation.
"Yup, Oma Island is just straight ahead." Scribble replied. Oh, you should probably know that he was turned back into his map form.
"You're not just taking us for a ride are you?" Ruel asked with some small laughter.
Eva sighed as she looked away from me then smiled as she leaned back on a chair and looked toward Dally. "How you doing noble warrior?" She asked with a smug expression.
I looked over at Grovy and felt bad for him. The poor orange haired Iop brain was having major sea sickness that never went away. He was weakly climbing over the rail of the ship and then turned around, using the rail to hold him up. His face was a pale green colour and he seemed like he needed help that none of us could give him. Except for maybe Aster or Astred, but Astred is too scared, and Aster is a friendly jerk who thinks Grovy needs to suck it up and get over it. I guess you could call it tough love.
Just then an ugly bird landed on the rail right beside Dally's head. The bird was a muggy brown colour with minimal feathers. It had a long tan neck to go with it's sharp looking tan beak. Boy was I glad I wasn't close to it. Dally looked it straight in the eye and then almost threw up. If that doesn't say how nasty the bird looked, I dunno what will.
"Be brave me hearty!" Ruel said from the behind the wheel. "You'll feel better this evening! Anyway, there's an Albatrocious on board and they bring good luck!"
"What?!" Grovy asked moving his head a little bit away from the Albatrocious. "That vile creature! How could it bring good luck with a face like that?!"
~Insert Time-Skip brought to you by Ankama themselves.~
Night fall had approached and Amalia, Yugo, and myself were looking up at the stars. What? Did you think I'd leave the two to have alone time? Nah, I want to protect Yugo, not just let him make stupid mistakes. All the stars were glowing brightly and flickering like tiny fire-flies. (Not that I know what fire-flies look like though, but if I had to guess...)
"Beautiful, huh?" Amalia asked.
"Yeah." Yugo agreed, "sometimes I like to think my real home is out there somewhere." Well that was deep.
"I like to pretend-" I began but cut myself off, "you know what? Never mind." I said softly before walking away a little, "I'm going to get some sleep." If you guys are wondering, I was just going to tell them how I like to pretend my mum and papa are watching me. Even though we technically haven't met, I just... I feel like they would know where I am.
"Okay Kaido." Yugo said and faced me with a smile. "Hey." He paused for a moment, "your eye's back to normal!"
I smiled back at the young Eliatrope, "yay! Hopefully it can stay like that for a while!." And with that, I went to bed.
