I might start extending the chapter length of this story per update! Shouldn't be much more than 5 or 6 pages though! Also, viewer discretion is advised if you'd like to continue... This is getting really dark. You have been warned. Please do not report. I'm just going to update one chapter this time because this one will be emotional and I want to give you time to cope.

~Kaido's POV~

By the time the screech had stopped, the dragon man thing looked over at us. His palms seemed to have red orbs of immense fire power as Dally picked up his sword.

"Finally! The noise has stopped!" The Iop said happily.

"I'll take care of the stronger one first!" The dragon replied as we shifted our glance back to him. He looked like an older man and his skin was dark, but he had a white beard and long white hair. His clothes seemed to be baggy on him and they resembled something from the ancient Japanese era- Or at least, that's what they made me think of. As he raised his arms, a smoke cloud was formed around Ruel and he gasped as everyone else screamed his name.

Dally on the other hand, seemed unfazed by this as he said, "What does he mean?! I'm the most powerful one." I would have laughed at that but now didn't exactly seem like the time.

Ruel flew into a pillar as the dragon made another fire ball in his hand and shot it toward Dally. Eva ran in front to protect him, but they both got hit instead and thrown back. Amalia on the other hand was quick on her feet and instantly created a giant flower to catch the two love birds as they fell. Amalia and I ran over to their side as they slowly stood up.

The dragon wasn't far behind us though and he had huge flames growing to be more like tornado's on fire. He slowly walked closer and closer. There was nothing we could do. I couldn't make a portal big enough for them to all get through to safety. If Yugo was here, he'd know what to do. But I'm useless and dumb, there's nothing I can do. If only I could stop the time.

I closed my eyes and tried to focus. Maybe, just maybe I could stop time. However, my focus was interrupted by the ground glowing with light in cracks that ran toward and surrounded the dragon. The ground beneath us began to tremble as we ran, overcome with fear and forgetting about Ruel in the process.

The trembling got fierce as the Terra split apart, launching the four of us forward, where we fell. Luckily, we all managed to avoid the debris. I slowly got up and glanced around at everyone. A giant rock almost fell and hit Dally in the... Sensitive section, but luckily it missed, by a millimeter. Lucky him.

"You worthless piece of trash-" Dally began yelling toward Rubilax. I assumed I must have missed something Rubilax said to Percedal or something. I tuned out the Iop and then looked at Eva.

"That was close." She said as we all stood up and looked toward Ruel, who was standing proud and tall.

He was holding his shovel like a staff as he stood on a pile of broken rocks and then said, "Not bad for an old guy, huh?" Then his eyes lit up with that childish spark when someone sees something cute and he grabbed two handfuls of Kama. By the way, not sure how but, the shovel disappeared and the Kama just kinda came out of no where. (When you notice that one mistake, but it's great because it's Ankama and it makes you fangirl so you have to add it to the fanfic.) The Enutrof began to fanboy over all of the newly formed Kama that was now scattered across the rocks. He eventually ran away trying to collect all of the Kama.

"Come back Ruel!" Amalia yelled, "We need to get out of here quickly!"

"She's right!" I called, "Unless you want the dragon to come back and finish us off!"
