"The lads are on there way here to pick me up, I hope that's okay."

"Yeah, of course it is."

"They'll be here in like half an hour."

"Oh alright."

I walked out of the room and back towards the kitchen.

"Where are you going?"

"To feed my cat. He won't stop scratching at the door."

"You have a cat?"

"Yeah, his name is Tigger. He lives out back."

"Why?"

"You ask a lot of questions."

"I know."

"My Step Mom never wanted him in the house. Poor thing. I never got around to building him a little dog house."

I got a cupful of cat food out of the garage and went outside. Tigger jumped out from underneath the bushes and ran over to me.

"Hey baby, you hungry? Aww, well here you go."

I leaned over to pet him and heard laughter coming from behind me.

"What's so funny?"

"The way you were talking to him."

"He's my baby. I'd do anything for him."

"Do you pamper him with spa days and all that?"

"Pfft, I wish. I can't even afford to take him to the vet. His dislocated his hip not to long ago and I couldn't take him to get it fixed, I felt so bad."

Niall nodded, a thinking face on.

"So where are you guys off to next?"

"Being a fan, I'm surprised you don't know."

"I'm dedicated, but I'm not stalkerish. Just kidding. I haven't looked into it, usually I find out on Tumblr."

"Were going to Australia."

"Wow, I bet that'll be amazing. I heard their zoo's are amazing, but I'll never get around to finding out if that's true."

"I'll find out for you, I'll be sure to take lots of pictures."

"Sounds good."

I giggled and went back inside, sitting on the couch in the living room.

Niall sat down beside, closer than usual.

"Can I help you sir?"

"I don't know can you?"

"Ooh, looks who's trying to be a flirt."

"Is it working?"

"Ehh...try again."

"How about I just do this."

Niall leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. After a few minutes, he pulled away.

"Did that work?"

"Uh-huh."

My voice was shaky and barely audible. Did that really just happen?
