A petite knock on the door of the club House Of Fun echoed throughout the empty building. Followed by angry, heavy footsteps. The club was closed for the weekend as everyone was going Christmas shopping, and the profits would be low.

The Joker growled as he approached the mahogany, double doors. He yelled, "Harley who's at the door?" To the sleeping blond upstairs.

"Maybe if you answer it you'll find out!" Shrieked a rather groggy, feminine voice from afar.

He narrowed his non-existent brows as he fumbled with the narrow door handle. The door swung open rather violently as it hit the back wall. To the Jokers disappointment there was no soul in sight. Had the Joker, the Clown Prince Of Crime, just been pranked?

He marched outside, fists shaking in anger as the slightly unbuttoned shirt clung to his body from the night before. He couldn't see any teenagers scampering off in an attempt to not get caught. He began to grow very confused and scratched his head.

Suddenly a voice yelled from behind, "Boo!". He spun on his heel, wrapping his hand instinctively around the persons neck, tightening his grasp to close the windpipe.

A small, blonde girl, with a large red backpack scratched desperately at his arms but made little impact. The next minute Harley came running down the stairs, shrieking as she saw her 'niece' being strangled.

"What the fuck are you doing?" She yelled shoving him away roughly causing him to drop the girl to the ground, taking deep, laboured breaths.

"They knocked on the door." He shrugged, not phased by the life he had almost ended.

"I told you never to scare him when I'm not there!" Harley scolded, pointing a stern finger at the girl who sat with a sheepish grin.

"I know, I know." She giggled.

"She didn't scare me..." Grumbled J defiantly as he stood, arms crossed over one another staring at the two conversing.

"Puddin' this is Lucy. Remember?" Harley questioned helping her up from the ground and wrapping a protective arm around her shoulder.

He stood still, a puzzled expression appearing on his face as he eyebrows furrowed in deep thought.

"My sisters daughter. We saw her when she was a baby." Harley continued, growing impatient with his blank expression.

The Joker nodded his head in remembrance. "Wow, you've grown up a lot kiddo. What age are you now?" He tried to act like an adult but it just ended up becoming awkward when Lucy replied with '15.' He soon excused himself after making a comment on how stupid Harley's sister must be for letting her be in Gotham alone.

"He doesn't know does he?" Lucy asked, eyebrow raised as her arms folded over her chest.

"You just saw how he reacted when a little kid knocked on the door! What do you think he'd do to me?" Harley argued, eyes narrowed towards her daughter.
