It was the whole first week since this whole fiasco has started and I've already been asked out about ten times and have gotten about twenty-five numbers on papers which I have thrown away as soon as the girls left, seeing as though I still have no phone and don't intend on getting one any time soon. I kept glancing at Jinx's direction and when we'd catch each other glances, she'd be the first to look away but on other occasions I could see her burning holes on the other girls' heads, at least it's working. Sadly, whenever a guy would approach her, wherein she'd gladly converse with, if would start burning holes in their heads.
I was sat at the back of the class and Jinx in the middle. Jenna at my front, Brent to my right and Mike in the middle of the classroom, him being one of the friendliest people I know along with Derek.
"You're a madman, you know that?" Jenna said, turning back to look at me.
"A madman can't be as sexy as I am." I smirked, leaning my elbow on the table.
"Would you quit with the whole thing and just talk with the damn girl?!" She asked, angered.
"Too late for that." I muttered.
"Calvin, I love you and I just want you to know that you guys are taking this too far, it wasn't even your fight to begin with!"
"Well it became mine after she refused to talk to me for making a humanly mistake." I grumbled, refusing to lose the argument.
She scowled and turned back to the front.

Another girl has just asked me out, again. It's getting boring. I've been glancing at Jinx's direction and I've been seeing her with just blank faces and bored expressions. There would be times where she'd smirk and play tricks on the guys with her and they'd make me remember times when she would do the same to me. Guess I wasn't so special after all.
The bell rings and the crowds in the cafeteria soon disperse. I didn't move a single muscle, feeling depressed all of a sudden. Jinx must've felt the same way, her sitting there at the opposite corner and staring into space. Was it wrong to do this?
"Hey, Dipshit, shut your mouth or you'll catch flies." She said, dragging her things out.
Maybe not.
"Fuck off, bitch."
For a second there, I could see hurt in her eyes but whatever it was, it was long gone now, replaced with pure anger.
"Why don't you fuck off and quit copying a girl?!"
"Oh yeah? I can do whatever the fuck I want with my life, you know, my world doesn't revolve around you." I was right in front of her now.
She swung her arm and landed a punch on my lip. I could taste the blood oozing out of the brand new wound which will probably make me not want to eat for a couple of days.
Don't hit the girl. Don't hit the girl. Don't hit the girl. CALVIN, DON'T FUCKING HIT THE DAMN GIRL.
I ignored her and walked away. "You're a waste of my time." I mumbled, boiling inside.
The rest of the days sucked bad, no one said a word to anyone in the walk back home and Jinx was staying at the back of the pack while I was at the front, not bothering to say a word. We were all sat in the living room, the tension growing by the minute. The television was turned off and we sat there in silence.
"Umm, Calvin, Jinx, can you guys get a box of alcohol from the basement for us?" Derek asked.
Jinx never really did talk to me but that never stopped her from making up with the others.
