A/N: Above is the faceclaim for Rey, Daisy Ridley. Yes, the actress from Star Wars who plays a character named Rey is also in this story playing a character named Rey. Don't judge!

You may be learning a bit more about her. AND NO THIS ISNT A CROSSOVER OF STAR WARS! Sorry not sorry even though Star Wars is the best! Maybe someday I'll do one, but for now, no crossovers.

After school, Nancy and Rey both walked to the Wheeler's house together. They had just finished going around town so the new girl could get to know the place better. She seemed fascinated with the whole town and couldn't wait to experience the rest this town had to offer. Nancy gave her a few precaution tips, which was to stay away from Hawkins Lab and to not go into her basement. She didn't say why though.

They finally arrived at the house and Nancy unlocked the door. "Mom I'm home!" She said to her mother, who was in the kitchen making dinner. Her father was once again in the Lay-Z-Boy asleep as usual. Karen looked up from making dinner and waved at Nancy, who quickly introduced Rey before they went upstairs.

The two entered Nancy's room as she closed the door. Rey looked around and complemented Nancy's room, saying it looked pretty. She thanked her as they both sat down on the bed.

"Just one question, how come I'm not allowed in the basement?" Rey decided to ask.

Nancy sighed and looked down. "That's where my brother usually is. He's not in a good mood these days. We try to be there for him since he's been through a lot, but he keeps shutting me and everyone else out. I can't really say what happened, but it had a great affect on him and he's miserable. He normally wants us to give him space, so we never really go down to the basement unless we have to wake him up or try to get him to eat dinner with us," she explained.

Rey immediately felt bad for her brother. She had no idea what he was going through, but she did feel bad. "I'm really sorry. I hope that he'll be okay soon," she said. Nancy gave her a small smile before hearing her mother call her. She excused herself and left the room.

Rey then decided to explore the house on her own. She left the bed room and walked down the hallway. She saw another bedroom that was empty, which she assumed to be Nancy's brother's room, and another one that had a sleeping toddler in it. Then she saw the master bedroom where the parents slept. Then she decided to go downstairs.

The kitchen looked nice from what Rey could tell. She didn't want to intrude on Karen and Nancy's conversation so she didn't go in. Then she entered the living room where Ted was still asleep and looked around. They had a good looking TV and nice furniture too. As she was leaving the living room, she heard a small sound.

It sounded like crying.

Rey looked around for the sound and realized that it was coming from behind one of the doors. She quietly opened it and realized it was the door to the basement. She hesitated for a minute since she couldn't go down there. But she wasn't one to leave someone alone while they were crying. She quietly walked down the stairs and got a good look in the basement. There was a small table with four chairs set around it, as well as a couch with a few more chairs, a few movie posters, shelves, a door to another bathroom, abd a bunch of other stuff on the floor.

Then she noticed, right by the door to the outside, a blanket fort by one of the desks. It was kept up by chairs and it had its drape closed. Rey knew that the blanket fort was where the crying was from.

"Hello?" She said in a calm voice.

The crying stopped all of a sudden, but there was still a few sniffles. The drape to the blanket fort was slowly lifting up revealing a boy, who Rey assumed to be Nancy's brother. He had dark hair, dark eyes, freckles covering his face, and pale skin. He had tear tracks on his cheeks and his eyes were red. He was also holding something in his hand tight to his chest.

"I'm sorry if I'm intruding. Nancy invited me over and I heard crying," Rey explained. The boy stared at her for a few minutes before looking away. "Are you her brother? What's your name?"

The boy looked up at her. "Mike," he said before looking down.

"Nice to meet you Mike. I'm Rey," Rey introduced herself. "What's wrong?"

Mike looked at her dead in the eyes with a small glare. "Why would you care? I don't even know you," He said in a firm voice. "You don't know what I've been through. You don't know what happened to me. No one does. No. One. Fucking. Knows!" He started to tear up again, losing his glare from his face.

Rey gave him a look of sympathy. "You're right. I don't know what you've been through. We just met anyway. But I do still feel bad for you. Whatever happened must have broke you. Bad things have happened to me as well in my life. You're not the only one," she said. She saw tears streaming down Mike's face as he tried to wipe them away. While doing that, the item he was holding fell onto his lap. Rey decided to take a quick look at it. It was a picture of a girl wearing a blue dress with dots and a red belt. She was with Mike dancing and smiling. Rey felt like she knew the girl from somewhere, but wasn't so sure. "Who is that?" She asked.

Mike saw that the picture was facing up and immediately grabbed it, covering it up against his chest. "Nothing," he mumbled.

"Who is that girl? The one you are dancing with," Rey asked again. She was really curious since the girl felt familiar to her.

Mike was silent for a few moment before breaking down crying again. He was still able to speak though. "S-She was my date at the Snowball. She was my everything! I loved her and I still do! But I lost her again! She's dead! SHES DEAD!" He said, his voice breaking.

Rey put a hand over her mouth in shock. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" She said, putting a hand on his shoulder. It looked like Mike had forgotten that she was there because he quickly tried to wipe away his tears. Rey gave him a weak smile before asking, "What was her name?"

Mike looked down. "Her name was El. I gave her that name. Her full name was Eleven," he said in a small and hoarse voice.

Rey's eyes widened at the name. She knew that name. She heard that name before.

Her face paled as she asked. "Did she happen to have a tattoo on her arm?" She muttered.

Mike looked up at her in confusion. "Why do you ask that? Did you know her?" He asked in a curious tone. Rey sighed as she lifted up her sleeve on her left arm. The boy's eyes widened as he read the tattoo on her arm.
