A/N: THIS STORY IS NOW COMING TO AN END! AHHHHHHHH SO SAD!

Not to worry though, there will definitely be more stories in this series. After I post this chapter, I will start working on a spinoff starring the OCs I put in this story, more specifically, Rey/Reyna/005. Maybe there will be a third main story to make this a trilogy? That'll have to be after the spinoff, but who knows? Either way, I love this story so much and Im glad you guys love it too!

Imma give you a nice long ass chapter to please ya'll. This will be a nice ending to such an amazing story. I hope you guys will like it!

See you down below!

________________________________________________________________________________

A few months have passed since Eleven and Mike closed the gate. A lot of stuff has occurred since then that changed the people in Hawkins, but they were all for the good. The Upside Down wasn't going to bother them anymore.

One of the things that changed was the fact that the lab shut down. Why you may ask? Nancy and Jonathan decided to expose the lab for toxic experiments that killed most of the doctors and some visitors, including Barb and Bob. Other workers had to clean out the lab and move their stuff away. It pleased the people who knew the real truth, because now they couldn't experiment on people anymore.

Speaking of Jonathan and Nancy, they are now dating. Steve and Nancy broke up for reasons unknown because they didn't want to share it. A couple of days later, Mike found his sister and Jonathan making out in the living room of the Wheeler house. Then he told his friends that they were dating and everyone congratulated them. Steve was fine with it because he likes to hang out with the kids now.

Mike and Nancy also moved back in with their family. Karen found them around town and begged them to come home. The siblings didn't want to at first, but then they took the opportunity to make some new changes to the household. These arrangements were that they weren't allowed to be ignored, Ted had to care for once in his life, Karen couldn't be seen drinking wine all the time, and they had to go to Mike's science fairs. Karen agreed because she realized she felt bad that she missed out on her kids' lives. She even felt super bad a lot because when Mike went back to the basement, he saw the blanket fort his mother destroyed all fixed up again. Karen fixed it right after he had stormed out. That made Mike forgive his mother and she realized how important El was to him.

El was also doing really good. Hopper was able to talk to Dr. Owens, one of the only surviving doctors from that night, and he convinced him to let El, Rey, Keelan, Cat, Ryder, Heather, Jordan, and Damien free and live normal lives. He agreed to it and gave Hopper a birth certificate for Jane Hopper, which was El's new cover name. Hopper had told her about her mother and they even visited Terry Ives from time to time. El liked the name, Jane, but she preferred to be called El. She was also going to school with her friends after catching up a bit with Hopper's tutoring. She had never felt happier in her life.

The freed experiments were doing great as well. Rey was still living with her adopted family, Keelan was living with Lucas's family, Ryder was living with Dustin's family, and Cat was living with the Byers. Max was able to convince her family to let Heather, Jordan, and Damien move in to their house for the time being. Those four had grown closer, especially after Dylan's death. Heather, Jordan, and Damien realized that they shouldn't destroy the regular people and let the powerful people rule. Instead, they wanted to be able to live with them and use their powers for good.

With the younger set of the party, they had changed a lot as well. Mike and El were officially a couple after a month since they closed the gate. Max and Lucas started dating a couple of months after them after getting to know each other more. Dustin was still single, but he was talking to a lot of girls to get to know them and try to find the girl with Steve's help. Will, on the other hand, had told the party one of his deep secrets. He admitted that he was gay. The party accepted him for who he was and told him that if he was made fun of for it, never let himself get down because of who he was.
