Death

Rey was the first one to see the horrible sight that came to her eyes. She saw a passed out Keelan with a bloody nose, Ryder and Cat looking in shock at the dead Demodogs, and a dead, ripped apart Bob was lying in the heap of the dead Demodogs. Max and the others were upstairs already, looking at the sight.

Hopper went over to Bob's body. "I'm sorry buddy," he whispered to him. They had no choice but to leave him because all that was left of him was just remains and a ripped apart stomach. The chief went over to the other dead body that was in the room. Jordan was the one who was holding the body as Hopper went over to inspect it.

Dylan was unmoving in Jordan's arms and very pale. The monster got her good, but her sacrifice wouldn't be in vain. Even though she wanted to destroy the world, she ended up saving it in the end.

Rey came over, carrying the unconscious Mike, and reunited with her friends. She thanked Max, Jordan, Heather, and Damien for helping them out there. Hopper picked up El, Who was too weak to walk. She saw Mike in Rey's arms and she reached a weak arm over at him, mumbling his name under her breath. Hopper settled her down as they all left the lab and went in their cars.

The group arrived back at the cabin to see Steve wearing an apron and making food. Lucas and Dustin were watching TV and waiting patiently for the food to come out. The group tried to not be weirded out by the sight as they entered. Rey put Mike down on the couch and Hopper put El down next to him. El crawled over to Mike and held him in her arms. Jordan put Dylan in the other room and laid a blanket over her body.

Joyce, Jonathan, and Nancy came back with Joyce holding Will in her arms. She went into the bedroom and put her son down on the bed so he could rest. When she came back out, Steve was  serving the food to everyone on a plate. Everyone was satisfied because they were all tired from the past few days events. 

That was when Joyce noticed that someone was missing. "Wait, Where's Bob?" She asked in a worried tone. Hopper, Rey, Keelan, Cat, and Ryder all exchanged glances at each other. Joyce knew what they meant and she teared up. "Oh god..." she said under her breath as she started to softly cry. Jonathan wrapped his arm around her in comfort as Hopper sat next to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

"He wanted me to tell you that he loves you and that he thinks your boys are amazing kids. We won't let him be forgotten. He'll get the service he deserves," he said in a soft tone. Joyce nodded and tried to calm herself down.

El sighed and looked over at Mike. Then she looked over at everyone else with a tired, but happy look. "We're safe though. We'll be okay," she reassured everyone. "The gate is closed. No more Upside Down, no more Demogorgon, no more Demodog, no more Shadow Monster."

"And none of us will be tortured anymore," a small voice said. Mike was slowly sitting up, looking tired but also happy about their accomplishments. "Yes, we'll still be traumatized. Yes, we lost a lot and we can never come back from it, but we'll stick together no matter what. We're all in this together. We can get through our trauma and be happy with our lives. Will is okay, El is alive, we're all alive. But we'll never forget Barb, or Bob, or Dylan," he said to everyone.

Everyone nodded and looked at each other with smiles on their faces. Hopper then looked over at El and Mike, who were starting to cuddle with each other. "Hey, El. How would you like to live with me? I would love to be your father," he said. El nodded in response and grinned. Now she would be able to have a real papa who would never hurt her, unlike Papa at the lab. She went over to Hopper and hugged him and he hugged back. "You'll be able to live with me and live a normal life. I know a guy who can help me adopt you and cover up everything at the lab," he said. "I can do the same with you guys too," he added, referring to Rey, Keelan, Ryder, Cat, Jordan, Heather, and Damien, who all nodded.

"El would be able to go to school with us and be normal?" Mike asked. Hopper nodded and Mike joined in on the hug, happy. Everyone else joined in on the hug, happy that they were all safe and happy.

They would all be normal and live happy lives.

A/N: This story is coming close to an end! Just one more chapter! Man, this one was a really fun ride! But don't worry, I'll definitely write more things in this universe. I have a big spinoff planned that will be really fun and adventurous for every reader here.
