Jessie's POV
I barfed and spat all the contents of my stomach and by the time I was done, with the help of Landon, I got up and rushed to the sink to brush my teeth and wash my face.
Landon was staring at me by the time I was done and he was smirking at my awkward trance.
"Erm, thank you." I decided to speak up.
Landon was the first person who held my hair when I vomited although his current demeanor suggested that he was not quite worried about my weak condition.
"You'll get better, it's just a hangover. Here, swallow up." He handed me painkillers and a glass of water.
After I took the medicine, I shifted awkwardly and Landon's amused expression didn't help me feel better as I felt even more awkward.
"I need to change." I retorted.
"I'm happy to watch." He smirked cheekily, his deep dimple showing.
"Alright." I turned around and attempted to lift off my dress before I turned back to see his shocked expression.
His eyes were bulging, his mouth wide open with surprise and when he knew I was only joking, his cheeks turned a shade redder accompanied with a scowl on his face. I laughed at him before kicking him out of the bathroom for real this time.
I got out of the silky red dress and hopped into the shower instantly to take a warm bath.
The warm shower was the best choice as the hammering of my head descreased and I felt so much at ease until snippets of flashbacks of yesterday's events hit me.
We kissed.
And today, we pretended none of it had happened. Or maybe Landon was too drunk to remember? I prefered it to be that way unless I had to go through the awkward phase with Landon.
Awkward with Landon was extremely awkward and I hated feeling awkward.
I washed my body with Hira's soap which pleasantly smelled like green tea and when I was wrapped with the hotel's towel, I jumped out of the shower to find no outfits for me to wear except the red dress that I had previously worn.
Oh god, this would be inevitable.
"Landon?" I shouted, hoping for a response.
"Yeah?"
"Can you please grab a random shirt and shorts for me?" I asked.
I heard shufflings in the room and the door was flung open by Landon whose smirk was wider than ever as he looked at me.
I took the outfit from him and kicked him out once again before I changed into my comfortable cotton t-shirt and shorts and then I hopped into the bed trying to get more sleep.
I turned around to face Landon as I laid on the bed beside him.
"Where's Hira and Edward?" I asked him.
"They're in my room, too drunk to fuction. Nick's taking care of them." He replied.
"What'll happen if the teachers found out?" I started to panick before I was being comforted by Landon's not really comforting retort.
"Nick will send them tomorrow early in the morning, and I'll go back to my room." He finished.
I replied with a slight nod of my head and nuzzled into his arms, feeling the warmth of his body radiating off him and making me feel comfortable as sleep slowly took over me.
I was woken up by that one person who I never thought would bother to even talk to me.
Nicholas Jordan aka Nick.
