Scott POV

It takes about 15 minutes to get to the park, and there really isn't any silence in the car. Jason and Claudia talk to each other the whole way there while Stiles and I talk to each other the whole way there. I'm enjoying the drive though. It feels like a family outing or something. I can easily imagine Stiles and Claudia really being a part of my tiny family with Jason. The thought makes me nervous and excited at the same time, but then I realize that it probably can't happen. Would Stiles even want to share a family with me? I don't know, and that small bit of uncertainty can really change everything. I'm still afraid of what might happen if Stiles and I were together, even though I know Stiles would do nothing to hurt me. I guess I'm more afraid of Stiles rejecting me and then hating me for even confessing my real feelings for him. It may seem like a stupid fear, but it is a real fear for me.

As we pull up into the parking lot and I park the car, I decide to push all of those thoughts to the back of my mind. I'm going to enjoy today, hanging out with my best friend and his daughter. We are all going to have a good time. I'll make sure of it. The four of us get out of the car and I make sure it is locked before we start walking towards the park, Jason and Claudia running ahead of Stiles and I, but they are still clearly in our eyesight though.

"Claudia's bear's name is Cheery, just in case you were wondering." Stiles tells me as we walk. I gaze down at the pink teddy bear that Claudia is holding in her hand as she happily walks next to Jason.

"Cute name. It definitely suits the bear." I nod.

"She's had it ever she was born. It's the one toy that she really needs. It's really special to her." Stiles adds.

"Ah, okay. Yeah, Jason has something like that. It's a toy car. He plays with it all the time. I bought it for him when he was three." I reply in understanding.

"It's cute, when kids get attached to toys like that." Stiles comments as we walk further into the park, both of us admiring the scenery around us.

"Yeah. Didn't you used to have this big plushy elephant toy or something? Until you were 10, you always had to have it in your bed so you could sleep." I say, trying to recall a bit of our childhood.

"Yes. His name was Peanut and he was the best toy ever and he helped me get to sleep." Stiles replies slightly defensively, his cheeks going pink. I can't help but giggle at the sight. Stiles always looks really cute when he's flustered.

"And what about you? What happened to Tigger? I remember you trying to bounce around like him in the backyard so much when you were little with him in your arms, pretending to be him." Stiles comes back with, giving me a smirk. He starts laughing when it's my turn to blush red with embarrassment.

"Hey, don't judge me, Tigger was always my favorite and I thought that jumping really high would be the closest thing to flying, so being able to jump high like Tigger would be really cool." I mumble, stammering slightly, my face still feeling red hot.

"I'm not judging you, Scott. I was just pointing it out." Stiles chuckles, playfully nudging me in the arm. I roll my eyes playfully back at him, shaking my head in amusement.

We continue chatting away happily with each other as we walk through the park, keeping an eye on our kids. Suddenly, we then see Lydia and Allison running up to us, looking very excited, but I can see in their eyes that they are up to something. They are walking Claudia and Jason back over to us too. Stiles and I exchange a look of surprise.
