It's the most beautiful time of the year,
Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer,
I should be playing in the winter snow,
But I'mma be under the mistletoe.

Avi couldn't help himself smiling when he thought back these good old days. He remembered how tremble his hands was when Scott passed him the mistletoe back in 2011.

"W--what is this? We didn't have it in our practice."

"Mitch found this mistletoe and Queen thought it'd be a good idea if we use it for our performance.", Scott shoved the mistletoe into Avi's pocket, continued, "As you are the only one standing next to our girl, you gonna keep it."

"Why me? How about you? Can I change my stand with Kevin?", he frowned.

"Well, because you are a man, I'm gay, I'm not planning on get Mitch mad before Christmas by hangin' a mistletoe with Kirstie and no you can't, our fans won't be happy about it.", the baritone looked at the clock and hurrying grabbed Avi with him, "It's time to shine, no time to complain! Let's go!"

The bass ran to the stage, his heart beaten fast. Would he kiss Kirstie? Would he? Or wouldn't he? Scott shooted a mischievous smile to nowhere before started to sing. The mistletoe burned in Avi's jacket. Avi forced himself to smile as he hung the mistletoe up at the end of their performance, hoped that the light would completely hid his embarrassment. They did. And he looked into Kirstie's twinkle eyes, waited for the cheer faded away to put the mistletoe back to where it should be. Kirstie didn't kiss him, after all. What was he waiting for?

As he came back to backstage, Kirstie tapped on his back, stood by him for just for a moment and murmured, "I owe you.". Then she ran to Mitch and Scott, left him stood like a dork. Avi could hear Scömìche giggled and Kirstie whined.

But he totally had no idea about what she owed him.

Avi closed the video, shutdown his laptop and laid back on his bed. He was gonna have a date the next day, and it was so worth exciting for! Thinking about it, it had been a long time since their last meet 'cause Pentatonix flew around the world for their tours and Avi also had all of his mind on Avriel & the Sequoias. She called him not so long ago and they decided to spend a Christmas together after two years apart. Avi pulled his blanket up, tried to sleep. 'Cause he felt the next day would be awesome!

He knocked at her door around 7 next morning. Some barking welcomed him.

"Olaf, it's him! Stop it!", a voice came to his ears, he could heard the laughters between the complains. Then the door opened, revealed a little lovely Kirstie-in-sweater behind. "Hey Avi."

"Hey Kitten. You ready?", Avi smiled, his eyes focused on her. Gorgeous, he talked to himself. It wasn't a lie. Especially with her hair simply tied up.

"Yeah, sure, I'm just waiting for you.", she said. Olaf stood beside her, still stared at him.

Avi knelt to give the dog a scratch behind his ear, then turned his attention back up at his girl, "Good news, he hasn't forgotten me yet."

"For your information, I--uh, no, Mitch told him about you a lot so. Olaf misses you too.", Kirstie then said her goodbye to her baby, closed the door and walked with Avi to his car.

"Olaf does?", Avi chuckled, gestured her to the front seat.

"Uh huh", she handed him a cup of hot cacao while slided to her seat.

"Then how about you?", the bass carefully placed the cup in the cup holder, asked without looked up, "Do you miss me?"

A silence filled the atmosphere for a second, but then her chuckle broke it up right away, "I'll tell you later. Count that as a gift for the nice."
