Seventeen Family

|| Nine ||

Jun's POV

   Our whole family waited at the front door for the last of my brothers to come down so we could make our way to the beach.

   "What's taking them so long??" Chan whined.

   He's only 7 years old so he really acts like a baby sometimes. Especially since he is the youngest and basically is the baby of the whole family.

   "I wanna see the beach!" Vernon cried.

   "Me too!" Seungkwan added.

   Then Soonyoung and Jihoon came running down the stairs with towels around their necks.

   "Sorry.." Soonyoung said breathlessly. "We're here now."

   "Finally!" Seokmin cheered. "Let's go now!"

"Alright, everyone ready?" Dad asked.

"Yeah!" We all answered in unison.

"Let's start walking to the beach!" Mom told us.

We cheered and began walked towards the beach, the oldest brothers in front and mom and dad holding hands following behind their 11 sons.

When we got there, mom and dad later down towels and sat down as we ran to the water.

Except for Minghao who stayed behind clinging to mom's arm. He was still traumatized by the incident of him almost drowning a couple years ago.

"Eomma.." he cried. "I-I'm scared."

"Minghao..I'll go with you." I smiled and reached out my hand.

"It's okay, Minghao." Dad comforted. "You got this."

"O-okay." Minghao took my hand and we slowly walked over to the water. I held his small hand as we took a step into the waves.

"H-hyung." He whimpered as he grabbed my arm. The rest of my brothers were a bit off in the deeper area of the water.

"You're safe, it's okay. I won't let anything bad happen to you." I assured him.

   We carefully walked deeper until until the water was at our stomachs.

   A particularly big wave came rushing towards us and knocked Minghao over while he still held my hand.

   I quickly pulled him to the surface and he gasped for air, crying and coughing he engulfed me in a hug.

   "H-h-hyung!" He wept.

   "Are you okay?!" I asked slowly bring him to shore.

   A boy probably about Minghao's age, 8 years old, off to my left looked at us.

   "Is he crying because he got splashed by water?" He laughed. "Wow that's so dumb!"

   Minghao cried into my chest.

   "What did you say?" I snapped.

   "I said that's so dumb! Your brother is weak." He taunted.

   "Watch what you say, punk!" I scolded slowly letting go of Minghao and walking over to the boy.

   "Or what?" He retorted.  I shoved him hard and he fell down with a splash of water.

   "NO ONE MAKES FUN OF MINGHAO WHILE I'M AROUND!! GOT IT!?!" I yelled as a woman, who was probably the boy's mother, ran up to us.

   "What is wrong with you??" She roared at me. "Pushing around a younger boy! Shame!"

   "What the heck is going on??" Mom ran over to us.

   "Your son pushed down my 8 year old son! Teach him some manners!" The boy's mother scoffed at mom.

   "Jun! Why would you do that?" Mom asked me.

   "He laughed at Minghao for being scared of the water!!" I explained and mom quickly turned to the other mother.

   "For your information, my son has experienced a traumatic accident when he was a toddler, maybe you should teach your own son some manners and have him learn to respect others!And my son right here was only defending his younger brother." Mom yelled. "I'll still have him apologize for pushing your son, but don't you be telling me about teaching my kids manners when yours clearly doesn't know the first thing about respect."

   "Sorry for pushing you." I said staring down the boy.

   The woman scoffed and looked at her son.

   "Ok, say sorry to the boy for laughing at him." She said resting her hand on his shoulder.

   "Sorry." He said to Minghao.

   "It's okay." Minghao replied.

   "I think we're done here." The boy's mother said.

   "Mhm." Mom scoffed and brought Minghao and I back to shore.

Sorry if I don't write enough about other ships like Meanie and Verkwan. Soonhoon is my otp and I really like Junhao. But I can write more about Verkwan and Meanie if you want. I'm gonna write a lot about Soonhoon though. And quite a bit of Junhao and Jeongcheol. Mostly Soonhoon and Junhao though, probably.

Also, there will smut in this story, not too dirty but kinda like half smut half fluff ya know? Lol.
