Seventeen Family

Soonyoung's POV

   About 20 minutes later Jihoon and I went back to the booth to pick up the necklaces.

   "Hi, we ordered necklaces earlier." I told the lady at the desk.

   "Oh, yes. I remember you two! The cute young couple that asked for the couple necklaces." The woman replied with a bright smile and pulled out the necklaces we had ordered. "Here you are."

   "Wow, they look so cool!" Jihoon giggled as he took them in his hand.

   "Yes. And it is real silver. So that will be $75." She told us.

   "Hm." Jihoon hummed. "We only have $100 all together. But it's worth it."

   "Yeah." I agreed.

   "I'll use all my $50 so you can keep your last $25 for yourself okay." Jihoon smiled.

   "Are you sure? Okay, then you make sure to tell me if you want something else."

   We paid for the necklaces and walked around the mall.

   After about an hour of wandering around the mall together and looking around in stores for something we can buy.

   We past by a clothing store and I saw a white sweater with a small star on the front displayed on a mannequin.

   "Jihoon, look at that sweater! I really want that." I prattled to my younger brother.

   "Okay. Let's go in." He approved.

   We walked in and I saw a rack of the sweaters hanging. I ran up to it only to see that there was only one left.

   "Wow!" I said then looked at the price. "$25...but it's the last one. And look! It says it's limited edition! But don't you want to get something for yourself?"

   "You can get it. Don't worry about me, I spent my money on the necklaces. It was worth it, so get that for yourself." Jihoon giggled.

   "Yay!" I cheered and took the sweater off the hook then put it against my body. "Hm..it's a bit big, but that's okay."

   "Try it on!" Jihoon said.

   I put the sweater on over my shirt and it was pretty oversized but in a fashionable way.

   "Yeah, it looks good on you." Jihoon commented.

   "Everything looks good on me." I joked.

   "Don't get too cocky." He giggled.

   "Just kidding!" I laughed as I took off the sweater. "Its almost been 2 hours. Let's go pay for this then go and meet up with the rest of the family."

   Jihoon agreed and we went to the cashier to pay for the sweater.

   "$25 dollars is your total." The man at the cash register smiled as I handed him the money.

   The cashier took out a plastic bag. 

   "Is it okay if I wear it now?" I asked.

   "Of course!" He handed me the sweater.

   "Yay!" I smiled putting on the sweater. "Thanks!"

   "No problem, have a nice day!" The cashier said.

   We left the store and made our way back to the place where our parents and family were.

   "There you are!" Dad said as we walked up to our family who were gathered at a bench.

   Mom looked at his phone.

   "It's almost 4." He said then looked at Wonwoo. "Didn't you say you wanted to go somewhere nice to watch the sunset?"

   "Oh! Yeah! Maybe a cliff or something. Anywhere that has a good view. It'll be relaxing and a good place to read a book!"

   "That's seems like a scene from a romantic movie!" Seungkwan giggled.

   "Let's go." Dad smiled motioning for us to follow him as he made his way to exit the mall.

   The family followed him out into the parking lot to our car and filed inside to or seats.

   It took us a couple hours to get to our destination but it was worth it.

   We all fell asleep in the car, even Jeongmom. Once we got there, dad had to wake us up, so he honked the the really loud and we everyone jumped.

   "Yahhh! Don't do that!" Mom yelled punching dad's shoulder.

   He laughed and kissed mom on the lips hoping to gain his forgiveness. Mom smiled and pecked him on the lips.

   "Where are we?" Mingyu asked while everyone got out of the car.

   We all got out of the car and stared at the view in amazement.

   "Woahh..." Minghao said as his jaw dropped at the beautiful view.

   We stood at a cliff with a short fence at the edge and trees behind us. There was a view of green valleys and rivers. The sun sunk behind the hills in the distance leaving the sky with mixture of different colours. A typical romantic movie sunset scene. It was still pretty bright out.

   "Everyone, just sit  on the grass." Dad said and we all bunched up together and took in the view.

   I sat next to Seungkwan who was holding Vernon's hand.

   Jihoon came and snuggled into my chest. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his head.

   "I love you.." I whispered.

   With all my heart, I meant it. I love Jihoon. He's my brother but I love him so much more than that. I didn't realize, when I was 5, that it's not normal for brothers to be together. But I don't care, and it seems like the rest of my brothers don't care either.

Okay, I think this chapter is better than the last one. I feel like I started off weak but it got better..idk

About the photo, I know that's not really how I describe the view in the story but I just wanted to put that picture there cuz it's like the only picture that I actually took in this story.

Where do you want to travel in the world?

I honestly don't know. I just wanna travel the whole world.

I wasn't a Shinee stan, but I love their songs.
