Dear Elliot,
mum got tired of my distance. she screamed about how we used to get along and now we barely talk.
she called me a stupid brat all hung up in a delusion. she asked me to go outside for once and stop looking for attention.
i know she didn't mean it, she was just angry. but it hurt. it hurt so much.
have you ever not been able to breathe?
on your bed curled up and crying and just... stopped. everything stopped. your tears stopped, your whimpers stopped, maybe your heart stopped.
is it wrong that during that moment i was happy?
happy that if maybe everything stopped for just a second longer I wouldn't have to do this anymore... ever.
i'm happy you will never know how much it feels because it hurts so much after when everything starts again and you don't deserve that.
you're a good person.
