It Started With A Closet. . . A Drarry Fic (No Smut!!!)

Day Eight Part Three

Well, here you go! My most favorite update so far! Trust me, it's going to be freaking AMAZING! And also, I have decided to tell you that my fabulous character Hexa. . . I based her off of me, so most of this stuff is true. Except the hair and eye color, and I really want to learn how to use twin daggers, but I don't. And obviously I'm not an animagus, but that would be super freaking cool!

Okay, unless I say a specific person's 3rd person POV, just assume at this point that it jumps around.

The trio went deep into the woods confidently, finding a clearing to hang out in.

They weren't there long, though. There was a slight tug inside Silver, pulling her towards the northeast, deeper into the woods. She trotted steadily in the direction, completely aware of what was happening; she was a unicorn right then. The stags followed her curiously.

They saw flashes of cinnamon-copper fur up ahead, and at first they thought it was another deer, but then they heard a long string of cuss words and it took the boys a moment to remember that deers can't talk.

As soon as she heard the voice, Hexa's eyes went wide and her body straightened. The look on her face was an almost sinister smile if unicorns could harbor such a look.

She galloped over to the voice; the boys continued to follow dutifully and when they reached her, she was dancing on the tips of her hooves triumphantly and . . . teasingly? . . . around a centaur with that cinnamon-copper colored horse bottom half, lightish skin, and dark dark brown slightly wavy, thick hair that was a good three inches long and chocolate brown eyes. He was suspended above the ground by a back leg tied to a rope trap attached to a tree branch.

"Hey!" he protested, swatting at her (lightly so not to hurt her at all) while she playfully nibbled at his hair and then purposefully breathed heavily (almost a slight snort) in his ears, but she danced out of reach of the centaur's hand and continued to dance circles around him.

"Okay, that's a bit excessive, Feather," he told her. She shook her head so her mane flipped wildly from side to side and then whinnied some more laughter at him.

"Feather," he complained. "C'mon, are you gonna help me outta this stupid thing or not?"

Silver spun in a tight circle as if to portray annoyance for him ruining her fun. Then she snorted as if to say "Fine" and transformed back into a girl.

She walked around to the leg he was hanging by and pulled out one of her daggers to cut the rope.

"Wait, Feath––!" he started before he was suddenly sprawled across the pine needle-covered ground and rubbing the leg he'd been hanging by.

Hexa walked around to where his face was, giggling.

"How're you doing down there, Clumsy?" she asked, smiling.

"Just fine; how're you doin' up there, Feather?"

"Better than you, I'd guess," she teased and giggled again before helping him up.

Draco and Harry, human again and watching the interactions between the two others with both confusion and fascination. They exchanged looks before Harry spoke up.

"Uh, Hexa, what's going on?"

"Oh!" she said like she'd forgotten they were there. (She probably had.) "Harry, Draco, this is Cade. And Clumsy, guess what? I finally made some real friends! Other than you, obviously. That one's Harry, and he's Draco." Hexa pointed to each of the confused bystanders in turn as she introduced them.

"Hexa, how d'you know Cade?" Draco asked.

"I met him that first time in the woods. When I transformed for the first time, my unicorn thing that leads me to whomever is kind hearted and is in need of help kicked in and I found him like this––tangled up in a rope and I had to cut him down. It was just like this except we were younger, didn't know each other, and a lot of awkward small-talk. I started coming here every weekend, or whenever I got lonely, but it was against the rules to come into the Forbidden Forest, so I always kept it a secret. He was the first friend I've ever had."
