A/N  The next couple of updates are going to be a little slower because I'm out of town at the moment, so after this update it may not be until Easter or even after Easter until the next one is out.

They ended up just hanging out at one of their favorite get-together spots, one of the few that wasn't a cafe of some kind, the roller rink. It was Hexa's favorite thing to do, but Draco despised it because he was really bad at it, and Harry wasn't that good either, but tried to hide it for Hexa's sake. Deven and Zack usually fell more than once, but they were better than Drarry, and Hexa was absolutely amazing and taught Abigail until she didn't fall every time, but she also wasn't so good that she could keep up with Hexa yet.

Basically they spent most of the time at a table and talked randomly while Hexa sometimes skated around the table, or convinced them all to go around the rink a couple more times.

Around four o'clock, they all hugged goodbye and went back to their own houses.

Hexa ignored Abigail's exasperated sigh when she said she was going upstairs to write for a bit, and a half hour later, Abigail came in and dragged her to the limousine after telling her to change into a spring dress and not to question it.

"C'mon," she said. "We'll miss it if you don't hurry up and just not question it!"

"Miss what?"

"We went over this this morning, Hex! C'mon just get in and enjoy the ride!"

Abigail had already given the driver the place she wanted to go and helped him figure it out on the online mapping device---whatever that was called---and they got to the place within fifteen minutes.

Abgail blindfolded Hexa, grabbed a picnic basket of Hexa's favorite dinner and desert, and led her carefully up the hill that overlooked the whole city and the sun that was already halfway set.

"Can I take the blindfold off now?" Hexa asked impatiently.

"Two seconds," Abigail said as she laid out a picnic blanket on the very top of the hill. She'd charmed the area to generally be not too hot or not too cold, just right for a nice spring afternoon, even though it was actually mid-to-late January.

"It's been more than two seconds," Hexa observed, and Abigail lauhghed.

"Smartass," she said. "Alright, fine, you can take it off."

When she did, she looked around and saw the set of food laid out on the blanket and the sunset shining beautiful colors on the scenery before them. . . And Abigail on one knee holding out a ring (A/N  Which looked like this: https://i1.wp.com/fazhion.co/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Simple-engagement-rings-6.jpg?w=413&h=310&crop&ssl=1).

Hexa gasped.

"Abby. . ," she whispered, both hands still covering her mouth.

"Don't be a Draco, let me finish the speech first, okay?" Abigail said nervously. Hexa could only nod, and Abigail cleared her throat before continuing. "We've been together for seven years, and never in that time have I so much as given another girl a second glance. You've always been here for me, and you always make me laugh when I'm sad and believe in me even when I don't believe in myself. You're the most amazing girl I ever could've asked for, and now just felt like the right time. . . I know nineteen is young, and I won't even be nineteen until June, but I love you so much, and I wanted to do it before I lost the nerve and passed up this amazing opportunity. I just thought that this special question would be a perfect ending to your special day. Hex. . . Will you marry me?"

Hexa was crying. Tears were spilling down her cheeks and dripping off her chin to dew up the grass. Her eyes were still wide with shock and her hands were still covering her mouth. When she finally dropped them, Abigail saw her smile, and it lit up Abigail's whole world like the moon at midnight. (A/N  Y'know, if there weren't any streetlights either. . . Or stores. . . Like if they were in the middle of nowhere and it was picth black out and then the moon comes out from behind the clouds. . .)

"Yes," Hexa finally whispered, nodding and holding out her left hand. "Holy fucking hell, Abby, yes!"

Abigail slipped on the ring and stood up, immediately tackled in a hug from Hexa, and then Abigail kissed her now-fiance.

They ate the food and watched the rest of the sunset, and caught fireflies and let them go once the moon came out and stars began to dot the sky.

Hexa sighed contentedly, her head resting on Abigail's stomach as she laid horizantally next to her vertical fiance (A/N  Don't judge, I have no idea how to describe it, you guys know what I'm talking about, okay?!)

"This really was the most special day. . ," she whispered, and Abigail leaned over her at an awkward angle to kiss her lips lingeringly. "Thanks Abby. . . For everything. . ."

"I love you, Hex."

"I love you, too, Abby. . ."
