I'm originally from Quebec City. I went to McGill University to study mathematics, specifically statistics, and graduated last spring. I am now living in Toronto and am about to start a yearlong paid internship at the Renaissance Toronto Hotel. My job will be to gather and analyze statistics about people attending events in the entertainment district and try to figure out their hotel choice patterns. I was starting on Monday. After the internship is done, I will be attending the University of Toronto to start my masters. I am a math nerd.

My family is originally from New York City. During the Vietnam War, my grandfather left America for Canada to avoid going to war. He wasn't a coward but was very against the war. My grandmother, who I call Nana, followed him across the border, they married, and then stayed in Quebec to raise their family. My grandfather died ten years ago and Nana moved back to New York to live near her sister, my aunt Ginger. This is awesome for me since I get to visit NYC a couple times a year.

My name is Jessica Levine, by the way. I'm 21 years old. Single. I have brown wavy hair and blue eyes. I've been told I am pretty, but I've not received a lot of attention from a guy in a while.

My dad, Jacob, is a real estate investor. Luckily for me. When I got accepted to grad school and got my internship, my dad started looking at condos right away. He saw it as an investment. He bought this condo and he covers the mortgage. I pay all other expenses like utilities, my cell bill, food, etc.

My condo is in a very nice building. My neighbor who likes to bang girls in the hallway lives directly across from me. His side of the building has the nicer condos. There are two condos on that side of the hall to the four on my side. On top of being twice as big, the opposite side has an amazing view. My view is of the high rise apartment building across the street. Which is fine.

My apartment is small but cute. When you enter, there's the kitchen to the left which has an L shaped island. The island is my dining area. Behind the kitchen is a small living room. To the right there's one bedroom and a bathroom. My place is furnished with a bunch of stuff my mom no longer wanted after she redecorated our home last year. It's all in great shape and coordinates well.

Probably the most interesting thing about my condo is that I live across from a celebrity. When the real estate agent was showing my dad the place, she let it slip that he lived here. My dad wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing to live near someone famous, but eventually decided it wasn't a dealbreaker.

Yep, Canadian pop singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes lives across from me. Until last night, when he fell through my doorway, I had not seen him nor heard a peep from him.
