Lucy POV
We crossed our fingers tightly, squeezing each others hands in the process.
"L-" the announcer spoke. "Can he speak any slower?!" I thought, squeezing Natsu's hand tighter.
"Lisanna Strauss! Congratulations!" The announcer yelled. Everyone started to clap as my grip loosed from Natsu hand. I slump down.
I start to walk away as Lisanna smirks at me. "H-Hey! Where are you going? We still have the rest of the award ceremony!" I look back around my shoulder, a couple tears starting to accumulate in my brown eyes, turning them glossy.
"I need to see Rogue." I said firmly, knowing Sting was out on an errand for Principle Jiemma, and Yukino and Minerva had to go to a doctors appointment in Hargeon. The boy had a dishearten look on his face before nodding.
"Probably her new boyfriend... maybe I should stop chasing her.." Natsu thought, returning to his place on stage.

I quickly run out of the auditorium and to the back of the school where Rogue was waiting. "Hey! Did you....win...?" I quickly ran into his arms.
I pushed my head into my brother's chest, wanting nothing more than just to disappear. "Hey.. what happened?" I sniffed. "Not here..." I whispered. I pulled on his hand towards the music room and closed the door.
"I d-didn't w-win, can you j-just play a song w-with me to make me feel b-better?" I hiccuped, I didn't know why I was feeling so sad, it was probably because I didn't prove my point.
A look of shock crossed Rogue's face before quickly grabbing a violin. I sat at the piano and smiled sadly at the dark headed boy. "Thanks Rogue..." he quickly nodded, starting to play an easy elegant song that wouldn't make me use much effort.

I wiped my tears with the back of my hand and sniffed. "Thanks, that made me feel a lot better." I hugged my older brother and walked out. He kept his arm around my shoulder as we walked, telling me he'd be there for me.
"So who won anyway..?" Rogue asked, looking down at me, (which made me quite annoyed, Sure there were short people and tall people but no one ever acknowledges the AVERAGE PEOPLE.)
"Oh, it was Lisanna Strauss.." I spat, disgusted in even mentioning the filthy word. He stopped, making me stop. He turned over to face me and I quirked an eyebrow. "You don't mean that short white haired girl that had on that purple dress right?"
"Yeah that's her."
"She wasn't disqualified?!"
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused. "Well, after I saw your performance, the booth right behind the curtains had a girl in it and she was singing Stone Cold! After that I quickly walked up to see the stage and that girl was so obviously lip singing!"
"What?! Are you kidding me?!"
"No! I have it on tape! I just thought someone else noticed because someone walked out towards security so I didn't bother!"
"Rogue! You gotta go tell them now while the ceremony is still going on! It's about to be over!"
"Right!" He said as he started to dash for the stage. "B-but-! Rogue-! I have heels- oh forget it." I huffed, dashing for the stage as well.
I hid behind stage as Rogue stole the trophy out of Lisanna's hands. I was quite irritated because Lisanna was clinging onto Natsu like he was a god and it annoyed me, and his face told me he thought the same thing.
"Hey! That's mine!" She screeched.
Ugh, her voice is sooo high pitched.
"This doesn't belong to you!!" Rogue screamed, making me facepalm.

Lol, so many people failed the last science test that he's letting us cram as much information we can on an index card and use it as a cheat sheet on the test.
The funny thing is that me and my friend were the only ones who didn't study and we were the only ones who got 106 and everyone else made a 70 or below😂
