Misaki POV
"M-Mother... I have prepared lunch.." I said quietly, my hands shaking as I set down the silver tray in front of her.
I bowed my head and she eyed me. She suddenly smacked my head down and I winced at the pain, but I didn't dare pick my head up. I keep the tears in and wait for what she was gonna do next. It was silent until she decided to speak up in her demanding voice, " I'm coming to the Cafe today."
My eyes widen and I start to shake. "W-Why is t-that m-mother...?" I stuttered, about to burst into tears. "I need to make sure that you're not hiring anyone behind my back." She said, her voice dripping with venom. "Go set up the Cafe I'll come at 5:30"
I nodded my head and grabbed the Cafe key. I walk down the sidewalk, tears now falling freely down my pale cheeks. Some people stared and others gave a sympathetic smile. I ignored them all.
Lucy... She can't find out about Lucy!
I keep glancing behind me and when I get over my paranoia, I made up my mind to go to Lucy's School. I remember her telling me about her school project.
I think it was Fairy Tail Academy but I'm not sure..... screw it, I'll take my chances.
I quickly walk there asking a few people along the way. I check my wristwatch and its 1:32. They should be having lunch right now.... I thought while running.

Sting POV
"This is sad to watch Luce..." I said as I watch her try to bring some black haired guy to the roof. She stopped pulling on him and glared at me. "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!!" She said as she kept on trying. "Come on, give the poor guy a break" I said holding my hand out to him. "You can sit with my table instead of the roof."
Lucy's eyes widened and she immediately hugged the boy, while the boy was trying to get out of her grasp. She glared at me and whispered something into the boy's ear. His eyes widened and he stopped struggling. Lucy glared at me again and said "Zeref would rather be with me on the roof any day than be with the people at your table."
"Huh? Why--"
"LUCY!!" A voice screamed, there, I saw the most beautiful girl. Brown hair and Violet eyes. The only thing that was wrong was that she was crying her heart out. Lucy immediately lets go of Zeref to comfort the brunette.
"Misaki! What happened?!" Luce screamed as she shook the crying girl. "M-My My...!" She stuttered, choking on her tears. "Your?" Luce pressed on.
"J-Just please don't come to the Cafe today...." She said as she sniffed. "Wha? Why--" Luce started. "Just please don't!" She looked up at Lucy and saw that she was still unconvinced so she added, "O-Or...... I'll have no choice but to fire you!" She then walked away, leaving Lucy stunned.
"Okay okay, I know this isn't the time to ask but...." I looked over in Lucy's direction, "Hook a brother up, would you---"
"STING WHAT THE HELL?!" Lucy screamed as she tackled me.

Misaki POV
I walk down the sidewalk looking down. I look to the side and sigh. I chickened out again.... I should've told her about Mother... but I didn't.
I can't believe I said that to her....
The memory kept playing in my mind, making me wince.
"J-Just please don't come to the Cafe today...."
"Wha? Why--"
"Just please don't!"
"O-Or... I'll have no choice but to fire you!"
The words I said replayed,
Over and over and over.
I shake my head to try to clear my mind. "I got to get set up.." I murmured. I check my wristwatch again 2:01.

Lucy POV
"Can this week get any worse? First, Mr. Clive gets transferred leaving this prick of a teacher. Second, Natsu and Lisanna ruined the meet up time for me and Sting. Now, I'm in a group project with that idiot." I thought bitterly as I walk to class 3-E.
(Class A1-A5= Math
Class B1-B5=Social Studies
Class C1-C5= ELA
Class D1-D5=DNA
Class E1-E5=Science)
I open the door and walk through the pieces of string, breaking it's bond from the door. I pick up the string from my foot and threw it away.
"What have you been teaching your students? Their brains are mush if they thought string that was glued to a door would trip anyone" I mumble under my breath. I sit down in my seat, the familiar feel of fire-lighted arrows hit my back.
They're all psychopaths...
While I was waiting for class to start, I couldn't help but think about what Misaki said.
"O-Or I'll have no choice but to fire you!"
"No choice but to fire you!"
"Fire you!"
I sigh and rest my cheek on my hand and wait for Natsu to come over. After a few minutes he comes over.
"Alright discuss your projects and by the end of this week have your report ready." Ms. PrickOfATeacherIHateYou said.
I sighed and glared over at Natsu making him flinch. "So..... why didn't you come yesterday?" I asked him. He stiffened and answered "Family Issues..."
My eyes widen a bit before signing for the umpteenth time this year. "I'll let you off this time." I said while getting out a sheet of paper.
"Alright then, what do you know about the zodiac Cancer?" I asked, not looking away from the paper. "Well, I know that it's a crab and the date of Cancer is June 21-July 22." Natsu said.
"Mhm" I replied, writing the notes down. "I think that we should add the story behind Cancer" I suggested. "Yeah that sounds good"

After class Natsu and I actually managed to finish our notes so we'll be ready to do the report by tomorrow. I walk out of school as the bell rings and everybody floods out of their classrooms.
I continue walking and as I get to the gate I hear Natsu screaming my name. "What?" I asked annoyed. "Well, I was thinking that I would invite you over to do the report." He said, scratching his neck.
"Huh? Why not during class or in the library?" I asked confused. "The Classroom is too noisy and Lisanna keeps on staring at me, so I can't concentrate."
"What about the library?"
"Since 5 full classes get the same assignment, the library will be jam packed, making it equally loud as the classroom."
"Alright, you'll pick me up afterschool tomorrow?"
"Yeah"
