Natsu POV

"This is the day! This is the day! This is the day Natsu! You're going to confront her! You got this!" I yelled, as I looked at myself in the mirror. Seeing my reflection, I deflated down to the floor, slapping my hand over my forehead.

"I'm an idiot. She is so out of my league." I muttered to myself. He obviously liked this girl but he never really ran into the "out of league" obstacle. But Lucy... oh god. She was literally like an angel sent from the heavens that could do no wrong.

"It's fine Natsu, just go to school, ask her to go into a private place, then confess! Perfect!" He encouraged himself, unaware of the little blue haired girl that was pressing her ear against his door.

Natsu eventually was ready and headed downstairs. "Morning." Natsu greeted, waving at his family members. "Natsu!" Wendy gushed, wrapping her small hands around his waist.

"Hey Wendy, what's up?" She looked up at him, grinning. Natsu raised an eyebrow. "I get to come with you to school today!" She cheered. Natsu looked over at his mom, sitting on the chair, eating her breakfast.

"Mom is it true?" She looked up from her phone, nodding her head. "Wendy doesn't have any school today and your father and I have a meeting. Don't worry, we've informed the school." Natsu nodded, grinning down at the little girl.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Mhm!!" Wendy nodded, her blue pigtails swing back and forth. "Alright, lets get in the car." I said, walking towards the red vehicle.

"So her name is Wendy?"

"How old is she?"

"She's so cute!"

I was seriously getting annoyed, and I could tell that Wendy was getting annoyed too. She doesn't usually like new people and when I bring friends over from school, she usually stays in her room.

Lucy is literally the only one she likes out of the family. After a bit, Wendy stomped on someone's foot that kept asked her questions. The person took it as an accident, annoying Wendy further.

As we entered the classroom, we were literally crowded so I couldn't even see anything because of the walking lampposts bombarding us. Suddenly, I felt Wendy's grasp leaving my hand.

I quickly reacted, searching around for the small girl. "Lucy!" I heard in the distance. Everyone turned to look at what Wendy had said. "Oh, Wendy, I didn't know you were here to—oof!"

Wendy had thrown herself into Lucy's arms and didn't seem to have any intentions on letting go. Lucy stroked her blue pigtails and giggled while whispering into the girl's ear. Wendy giggled back and whispered something back, causing Lucy to giggle back. Lucy whispered again, as Wendy nodded.

Lucy looked at the class. "Guys, she says she doesn't like you."

Everyone huffed in frustration as everyone got seated.

This is it! I'm going to ask Lucy! Just as I was about to ask her to go someplace private with me, Wendy had pulled on her arm and dragged her somewhere else. I groaned but was quite grateful since I didn't have to do it this soon.

Lucy POV

"Wendy? Where are you taking me?"

"Somewhere where no one can hear us" she whispered back making me confused. "Alright, That corridor over there never has anyone in it at this time, so what's up Wendy?"

"I was wondering..." Wendy twiddled her tiny fingers. "Yes?"

"If you could go to a dinner with Natsu? As a date?" Wendy asked innocently. I blushed, not expecting that kind of answer. "Uh, have you ran this through with Natsu?"

She shook her head explaining her idea. "I overheard Natsu day he was going to confess, and he's been in an upset mood lately, so.....I just wanted you to make him feel better." Wendy rocked back and forth on her heels and I giggle.

"Of course, I'll ask him later." Wendy looked up, surprised. "Really?" She squealed.

"Yes Wendy."

"YAYYY!"
