Natsu POV
Lucy should be coming back today....
I sigh as I get out of my bed.
Should I give up on her?
No, Dad always said there's only one person in the world that means the world to you, and I don't think I'll find someone like Lucy again
But who knows? Maybe we're not meant to be?
No! Stop it Natsu! Don't lose hope so quick!
I sigh again, walking to the bathroom to splash water on my face. I look at my reflection and I groan. All I could think about myself was,
Playboy!
I slap myself with my wet hands. "No! It's okay!" I quickly get dressed and go downstairs to see breakfast already served with Wendy happily eating it. "Morning Wendy."
She smiles up at me, her cheeks full with food. "Good morning!" She said muffled because of the food. The white cat at Wendy's feet nudged her leg, as if to lecture her.
Wendy swallows her food and giggles. "Oh Carla! We need to get you dressed!" Wendy said, running off into her room, Carla following obediently behind, her white tail tied with the same pink ribbon it was weeks ago.
I chuckle, I mean, it's not like I can judge. I dress up Happy with a green backpack everyday. I finish breakfast and I grab my keys off the counter. I'm about to open the door before I hear small petite steps coming my way.
"Natsu! Can you bring that pretty lady over again?" Natsu's eyebrow raised. No one immediately came to mind. "Lisanna?" Natsu asked, remembering that Wendy thought she was pretty at one point.
Wendy's nose shriveled in disgust. "No! The blonde one!" Wendy pouted. Natsu's cheeks flushed. I mean, of course he wanted Lucy over and it seemed like Wendy did too. Deciding that he didn't want Wendy to start crying, I decided to say,
"Okay, I'll make sure to ask her, we need to practice anyway."
Wendy smiles before running off. I chuckle and make my way to my red car. I open the door and put my keys in the ignition. I car burst to life as I buckle my seatbelt. No, this wasn't a Fullbuster Car, I didn't want to give that popsicle the satisfaction of me buying one of his products so I stayed with the latest model.
After a couple of minutes I arrive at my destination and like always, my car gets surrounded as I park. I grumble in annoyance. I continue to walk and I catch a quick glimpse of Lucy walking with that new student in tenth grade.
It definitely wasn't her brother as she told before. This guy had black hair that covered one eye and had a scar across his nose. So basically, he looked nothing like her, unlike Sting. On her other side strode Zeref, looking as if he just got hit by a truck.
I shrug it off and casually walk my way up to the blonde girl, ignoring the jealously bubbling inside my stomach. "Hey Lucy!" I wave and she smiles back, making my heart melt. I give her a hug and when we let go she kept her content smile. Before I could say anything else, she snaps her fingers in a fast motion.
"What was it? I told myself to tell you something before I left for Crocus.. what was it? Oh! Yeah! Congratulations on your new relationship!"
Blush spread across my cheeks. Was this a confession?! Unfortunately, my thoughts were incorrect, actually, very incorrect for the matter. As she continued to speak I notice a couple horrifying words leave my crush's mouth.
"It's fine! I thought your confession wasn't really that sincere anyway. Lisanna is a real bombshell though, but anyways, no hard feelings! A lot of people told me you did that to new girls anyway, confessing your love to them so it's chill, that was a good one though!" She laughed as my heart shattered more.
"Well, have fun with Lisanna! I know you like her~" she sang as she walked away.
"W-what?"

He was going to let her go but his dad found out that Cheyenne is the daughter of a very powerful company and they decided to hold her for ransom. So not only is she deathly sick with pneumonia, she's blind.
