Sting POV
"Ow" I say sarcastically. "Hmph, shouldn't have doubted me." Rogue grumbled as me sat in his emo corner.
"You didn't have to end the call!" I sigh frustratedly. Minerva and Yukino had gone to go sight seeing somewhere in Hargeon after the call, leaving Rogue and I by ourselves.
"Now what?" I ask, "Lucy isn't going to answer again Rogue!" I say exasperated. "Not to be the whisperer of bad news, but I'm meeting up with someone." Rogue says getting up.
"YOU HAVE A GUY FRIEND THAT YOU NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT?!" I scream.
"It's a her." He sighs bluntly, taking off his black cloak and replaces it with a black jacket.
I stare at him intently, starting to glare. "What?" Rogue quizzed, a confused look splattered across his face.
I glare at him more, my lips pouted. (Please imagine that)
"If you dare get a girlfriend before me, I'm going to kill myself and come back as a vengeful sprit to haunt all of y--"
"Bye Sting." Rogue slammed the door. I deflate in the couch, silence filling the air. I cross my arms over my chest.
"Hmph! Who needs him? I've got, Uh... uh, this, um, table! Yeah." I stumble, leaning my feet on the glass table.
The glass table suddenly broke underneath my feet leaving a glass mess on the floor.
I swear under my breath.
I slowly get up from the white couch, my feet lifting up from the now broken glass table.
I start to walk towards the kitchen, looking back at the table cringing. I wave it off, playing cool even though there was no one to witness it.
"Lucy can pay for it .."
I walk out of the apartment, content with finding someone to hang out with. I walk by the park and catch a glimpse of Rogue laughing with some black haired girl.
I scoff and continue walking. I see a familiar Café in the distance and I can see a figure quietly sweeping in the empty place. I smile to myself and blush a bit.
I run up to the cafe and walk through the door, the little bell ringing as I do. Misaki instinctively turns around with a smile.
"Hello Master! Welcome to the maid caf— Sting?" Misaki stops midway. "Hey Misaki!!"
"What brings you here?" She asked politely. "Rogue ditched me, Lucy is in Crocus, and Minerva and Yukino went to go sightseeing in Hargeon."
"Oh, well, you can help me with stuff! I've been swamped in quite a bit of paperwork so if you could clean up the shop, it would be amazing!" She says excitedly.
I nod, thinking it was better to work with a pretty girl then to sit at home and look at a broken glass table in shame.
She hands me the broom and I start sweeping. She seemed to walk into the backroom before I'm on my own.
A couple minutes later, Misaki walked out of the backroom to check around. She looks off into the distance and her eyes widened. I give her a confused look before she sprints to a piece of paper and slaps it on the door.
She grabs my hand and runs me into the backroom. She throws open a closet door about the size of a redbox. "Get in" She hisses. I oblige and slowly walk into the small space.
She quickly walks in and slams the door shut. She turns on a lightbulb and we just stand there awkwardly squished together.
"S-so.."
"Shhhh!" She hisses. I quieted down and asked her. "Why are we hiding?"
"My mom, I saw her in the distance, the sign I slapped on the door said I was going to get supplies."
"Why do we need to hide?"
She stayed silent and I thought I had hit a nerve. "I don't want to talk about it."
I nodded.
We suddenly hear the bell of the door opening. "Shoot." Misaki whispers. She looks straight at me, "shh!" She whisper screams as she turns off the light.
I nod again once I hear the door to the back office opening. "Misaki? Are you in here?!" I rough voice yelled. Misaki held me close to her so it would minimize the sound.
I blushed.
Suddenly, I felt something.
The door.
I felt.
Someone trying to open it.———
