Lucy POV
"Hey Lucy!" Natsu waved from across the hallway, his sweat glistening on his forehead as he gave a lopsided smile. I adjusted my books in my arms, waving back. He waved his arm over, indicating that I come over, I smiled as I quickly sped walked over.
It's been quite awhile since all the drama has been cleared up, and I'm having much more fun at Fairy Tail Academy now. I was happy. Finally. I reach Natsu as he gives me a side hug. I give into the hug and give him a light peck on the cheek.
"Hey Lucy, how's your day been?" I shrugged. "It could always be better." I smiled as I waved Levy over. "Hey Lu! Guess what?!" I get out of Natsu's arms, causing him to pout. "Hmm?"
"Gajeel asked me out!!" She squeaked, making Natsu inwardly smirk.
"So he finally grew some balls." Natsu cackled, crossing his arms. I smiled to myself.
I'm so happy here...
but, time waits for no man.
I lived that last year at Fairy Tail with no regrets, making many memories. Until, that last night.
"Hey guys! It's Friday, let's get the group together and go camping! Pleaseeeeee?" Natsu rolled his eyes as he agreed. I silently cheered to myself as I got the equipment for the small trip. "Alright, I called the guys, they're in." I nodded, texting the info to the group chat.
"Same, the girls are in." Natsu nodded. "Alright, lets get going!"

The end of the day, ending off with a campfire.
"Alright, let's just have a chat." I smiled, Sting, Rogue, Yukino, and Minerva agreeing. "Well, first off, let's have a confession session." I grinned, "It's been awhile. Erza, why don't you start? Any love interest? Secret you've been keeping? Time to spill."
Erza shifted, glancing to the side. "J-Jellal have been s-seeing each other for some time now..." Erza looked away, as well as Jellal. "Dang, this is juicy already" Mira giggled.
Everyone took their share, as well as I. Then, we talked about memories.
"Sting, remember that time when I caught you and Misak--"
"AHH AHH! LUCY, DIDN'T YOU HAVE TO ANNOUNCE SOMETHING?"
"No?"
"YES YOU DO!"
"No I d--oof! Dude, what the heck."
It was fun. I wish it could last forever. But, as previously mentioned, time waits for no man.
It was time.
"Hey guys? Do you, remember why Sting, Yukino, Minerva, Rogue, and I are here?" i questioned, nodding at the others. Everyone nodded, confused. "Well, as you know, this stay was never permanent..." I drifted, as everyone tensed.
"Lu, you don't mean...." Sting nodded.
"It's been a fun two years guys!" Sting laughed, though it was apparent that it was forced.
"So...when are you guys leaving?" Natsu asked softly.
"Ah, at 4am tomorrow" Yukino answered.
"I see..." I smiled again. "I love all you guys." I laughed.

"I didn't think it'd be so soon..." Natsu whispered. "I'm sorry" I whispered back. "Please don't go." Natsu's voice cracked. I gave a sad smile. "Stop smiling, I know you don't want to leave either, right?!" He sounded so desperate.
"No, but, I have to smile, for the others..."
"Goodnight Natsu."

"Lucy, we've gotta go, you ready?" Rogue whispered as he gripped his suitcase. "Yeah.. hold on" I whispered back, stepping into Natsu's tent. "Bye Natsu, I love you."
And I sealed our goodbye, with a chaste kiss on his lips.

My internet is back up, and yes. This is the ending! I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER SAY THAT, I'M SO ATTACHED. Btw, sorry if this isn't the ending you were expecting, I'm not very good at endings... but trust me, I intended that it would end with them leaving.
