"Natsu!"
"Lucy!"
"Oh, you go first!" I said quickly, rubbing my hands together. Lucy scratched the back of her neck. "I was wondering if you'd like to grab dinner with me... as a date?"
My heart was pumping, but at the moment, it seemed like it had stopped before going into crazy overdrive. (To get a good representation, it's that feeling when you reach into your pocket and don't feel your phone.)
"W-What? Can you r-repeat that?" I stuttered, mentally punching myself. "Would you like to grab dinner with me?" I nod my head vigorously, not trusting my own mouth.
She smiled, a smile that would be able to melt anyone's heart. I quickly blushed, pulling out a lopsided grin.
"So, what time?"
Lucy thought for a moment, before seeming to nod at herself. She fixed her skirt as she looked up with her chocolate brown eyes. "At seven tonight, make sure to wear something not too laid back please."
I raise an eyebrow. "Could you tell me the place we're going to?" Lucy shyly looked away. "Uh, it's Love and Lucky..ack! I know! I know! It's not really a fancy place, but, it's the place that my parents named me after so I just like to be presentable whenever I'm there." I nodded in understanding.
"So like, wear something like a tux?" Lucy's eyes widened and she started waving her hands frantically. "No no no no! Not anything like that! Just wear a button up shirt with jeans or something."
"Oh alright, I'll see you at seven at Love and Lucky then?" She nodded and walked away. I silently cheered to myself.
I-I-I did it!! I mean, I didn't really do anything, but.. whatever! The important thing is, is that I have a date with Lucy! And not just Lucy,

"Hi mom! Hi Dad!" Natsu waved, speed walking to his room to get ready. "Hello Natsu dear, how was....and he's gone." Igneel started before Natsu had sprinted off to his room. Grandeeny had waved Wendy over with a warm smile.
"Wendy, do you know why Natsu is so riled up?" Wendy nodded excitedly. Igneel put down his newspaper to listen to the conversation, as he picked up his coffee mug.
"Would you mind telling us honey?" Wendy nodded as she said, "Natsu is going on a date!" She smiled. Igneel had spit out his bitter coffee, simply mind blown. His eyes narrowed and he slammed his coffee mug down.
"I swear, if it's that Strauss girl then I'm about to pull that boy from the shower and tell him he can't go!" Grandeeny smiled at her husband.
"Now now dear, it's not like I like her that very much either, but it's Natsu's happiness on the line, plus, if our company starts an alliance with the Strauss's then it would be a minor improvement." Grandeeny said, taking a sip of her tea.
Igneel scoffed. "I don't need minor improvements for the Dragneel Incorporation, I need major ones." He scowled, his onyx eyes narrowing more.
Wendy shook her head viciously. "No! It's Lucy!" This time however, Grandeeny has spit out her drink as Igneel stood shocked.
"Wendy dear," Grandeeny started, wiping her mouth with a hanker chief. "Do you mean that girl that came over to our house with the blonde hair?" Wendy nodded.
Grandeeny's eyes glistened. She turned to Igneel excitedly, her dark blue hair whipping through the air. She hugged Igneel as she excitedly whispered into his ear.
"Well, what about an alliance with the Heartfilia's?"
