The dark haired boy grumpily leant against the wall, carefully observing the team of young Titans casually conversing throughout the room.

The moody teenager didn't particularly enjoy social gatherings such as these, so he tended to stick to the sidelines. He dismissively rolled his eyes at the other Teen Titans and folded his arms over his chest, pressing the small button to open the door and leave. He didn't have time for foolishness and games, he was next in line to be Batman.

"Hey, where you going?" He heard a soft voice call behind him as he turned around to see Mar'i Grayson, looking at him with sparkling solid green eyes.

"Nowhere that concerns you." He stiffly uttered, looking away from her.

"Come on Dami. Why don't you ever relax? Just have a little fun." She said as he made an irritated noise. "-TT- What have I told you about using that infernal nickname Grayson." He warned, resulting in a sigh and a roll of her eyes. "It wouldn't kill you to get a few friends." She muttered before turning around and strutting back to the living room.

He snorted in disbelief. He had friends. Or more accurately; friend. The only person who he could stand was Wilkes, who he desperately needed to talk to. He marched back into the living room, "Wilkes!" He snapped as Colin smiled and jumped over the back of the couch, "Wayne!" He mimicked his tone as the other boy rolled his eyes and walked out of the lounge to talk to him.

"What's this about?" Colin asked with a raised eyebrow. "Is it your secret crush on Mar'i?"

Damian, thoroughly taken aback by this, vigorously shook his head. "I do not, under any circumstances, favour Grayson as a suitor!" He angrily annunciated, trying to shush his oblivious friend. "Dude, it's pretty obvious you like her. And, you know what? I think she likes you too." He mischievously grinned, an evil sparkle in his eye. "Wilkes, whatever you're planning on doing-" Damian began in a warning tone, but it was too late.

"Hey, Mar'i! Damian wants to talk to you!" He called. Damian felt his stomach drop in dread. "Wilkes you inane freak!" He hissed as Mar'i happily floated towards them. "Hey, what's up?" She asked. The auburn haired boy shrugged. "I don't know." He sneakily smiled before walking away, careful to shut the door behind him.

"My apologies." Damian awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. "I believe Wilkes is mentally unstable." He muttered as the girl grinned at him. "Okay." She giggled, patting him on the shoulder. He took a half step back and leant against the wall. "You're free to go." He said.

She suspiciously cocked her head to the side. "Are you sure you didn't want to talk to me about something?" She asked. He just haughtily nodded in response.

She sighed and walked away. Surely she couldn't be the only one having these feelings. The butterflies whenever their eyes met. Accidentally following him with her gaze in a busy room. Not quite being able to pay attention when he was around. It couldn't just be her, could it?

Defeated and upset, she walked to her room and collapsed on the bed, falling asleep.

Tap tap tap. Jittery knocks echoed off her steel lined door as she slowly opened her eyes and checked the time: 11:04 pm, it read. What could anyone want at this hour? She hadn't been asleep, but it was still a minor nuisance. It was her off day, after all.

Curiously, she pressed her hand to the ID pad to unlock and open the door. It slid open to reveal Damian, only half dressed, wearing a pair of grey sweatpants and panting slightly, as if he had just sprinted to her room, which happened to be on the other side of the building to his. "Damian?" She breathed, bewildered at his presence. What was he doing there?

"I'm aware that-" He began before rolling his eyes. "Fuck it." He mumbled, taking a step forwards and pulling her against him, smashing his lips onto hers.

She immediately reciprocated, the ends of her hair bursting into violet flames as she ran her hands over the muscular ridges of his abdomen. He pushed her against the wall of the hallway and lifted her up. She wrapped her legs around his waist. "Damian..." She sighed as he roughly trailed kisses down her throat, leaving soon to be purple marks. "Damian, my room." She airily gasped, pointing as he nodded and carried her through the threshold, shutting then locking the door.

He lay her down on the bed and braced his hands on either side of her head, attacking her with fiery kisses on her lips and jaw, kisses blurring into kisses until everything but each other disappeared.

Morning
He pressed one last kiss to her soft lips and pulled away. "I have to go back." He softly murmured as she sighed and nodded. "Okay..." She whispered, kissing him again before letting him go.

As soon as he stepped out he saw the whole team leaning on the opposite wall, smirking at him. He briefly widened his eyes in shock before ignoring them and walking back down the hall to his room. "Hey Damian!" Colin hollered as he turned and shot him a venomous look, "What?" He hissed.

"Next time you get laid, make sure it doesn't interfere with the six am meeting." He called as the other boy growled and continued to stalk down the hallway. "I will."
