Chapter Three ~Team day

~Umiko~

The last two days were spent training with Kakashi and my new sword, i was a natural with it and even though i liked the sword something just didn't feel right with it, whatever i'll keep Yukimura for now, anyway today we were getting our team assigned i wondered who would be on my team and who would lead it.

I was just spacing out thinking about stuff and turned to shut up the screeching fangirls when i saw the most glorious moment infront of me, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki were KISSING, oh this is a moment i will remember for the rest of my life.

Iruka soon came to class and i kept my focus on for when i'd hear my name "Team 7 Umiko Hatake,  Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha"he announced, i lifted a brow and looked at my future teammates, Sasuke i didn't mind he was fairly talented and Naruto well, he's a bit of a mystery.

I think Naruto has potential but he's just so god damn loud and a total moron! i sighed a bit, i guess i can learn to deal with it, anyway afterwards we were dismissed for lunch, i went to the roof and ate my lunch in peace.

"He's late"Naruto said "Thank you mister obvious for saying that for the hundredth time, just sit down and be patient"i told him leaning back with my feet on the table and a book in my hand, ignoring the me, Naruto got a chair and propped an eraser to the opening of the door "Our teacher is a Jounin an elite ninja you think he'd fall for that?"Sasuke muttered hands crossed in front of his mouth.

I rolled her eyes a bit and not long after a fingerless gloved hand opened the door and the eraser fell on a head silver hair "See Sasuke he did fall for it!"Naruto said laughing hysterically, i looked over and was shocked to see none other then the man who raised me Kakashi Hatake.

"Hmm, well first impressions say, you're a bunch of idiots"Kakashi bluntly said picking up the eraser, putting it away he then told the group to meet on the roof, i shook her head and used a teleporting technique to get to the roof "Ah Umiko glad to see at least one of my students isn't an idiot"Kakashi smiled at me.

I huffed sitting down "That's not what you said a minute ago"i said and he just laughed sheepishly as the two boys arrived and sat down with me in the middle "Alright why don't you introduce yourselves?"Kakashi asked "What are we supposed to say?"Naruto asked, "Things you like things you hate, stuff like that"Kakashi said with a shrug.

"Why don't you go first?"Naruto asked Kakashi, i zoned out of it returning to my book, i did put some attention to what Naruto and Sasuke would say what can i say i was curious, Naruto went on and on about ramen but at least his dream didn't involve ramen, his dream was to become hokage.

I scoffed under my breath, this idiot? Hokage? Well maybe if he honed his skills, anyway Sasuke went next not telling much about himself only his goal to restore the Uchiha clan and destroy a certain someone, i knew about the massacre but that's pretty much it, i wanted to know more though but the hokage didn't let me, little does he know i have my own ways of gathering info.

I found out that the Uchiha had been planning a take over and the elders had put one Itachi Uchiha up to killing everyone, i still felt there was more to it but the rest of the info was kept in ROOT and that's a place i wanted to avoid at all cost, anyway "Alright lastly the girl"Kakashi said.

"I'm Umiko Hatake, i like lots of stuff, i dislike loud, annoying people which is why i hate crowds, my hobbies are very varied it's hard to keep track of them all and my dream is to find my real dad and be as awesome of ninja as the second hokage"i said well more like grumbled not putting much emotion to it focused on my book.

I heard Kakashi sigh and zoned out of it again as he went to talk about the cut off test or whatever "Meet me at 5am and don't eat breakfast"Kakashi said as i zoned back in, with that i left and headed to the training ground we would meet at tomorrow.

However as i arrived someone was already there, i decided to watch them, his long light brown hair tied at the end wearing pretty simple clothes but it was his eyes that caught my attention the most i could see the veins around his eyes, the Byakugan.

"You can stop hiding now"he said, oh that chill in his tone my spine tingled with shivers but not the bad kind, i stepped out and walked over "I wasn't really hiding, kinda hard to from a Huyga with their Byakugan active"i said "Hmph"the boy huffed a bit, clearly not impressed.

I walked closer looking him in the eyes, he backed off a pinkish hue spreading across his cheeks, i didn't reply just looking into his eyes "Hmm"i hummed a bit "The caged bird"i said clearly catching him off guard and also angering him as he tackled me.

"How do you know that?"he asked glaring "You just have such sad eyes, like a caged bird wishing it could fly"I said and flipped us over, now i was on top i put my forehead on his looking him right in the eye, that pink hue appeared again on his face "You know what though, the cleverest birds always break out of their cage"i said.

He kicked me off getting up, i flipped over landing on my feet and looking at the boy as he looked at me, "Just who are you?"he asked, i lowered my scarf a bit and smiled "I'm Umiko"i told him.
