Chapter Twenty One ~ Gotta see! Gotta know! Kakashi-sensei's true face!

~Umiko~

It's been a few days Sasuke and Kakashi were all better and we were back on doing missions, we had just finished one and i actually had joined them this time to give myself some down time instead of sending a clone like i usually would, anyway currently we were in an alley where Naruto turned to us "Hey, you wanna see it don't ya?"he asked.

"I say it's time"Naruto said "For what?"Sasuke asked "Come on you know what i'm talking about Kakashi-sensei's real face"Naruto said trying to spook me with a flashlight under his face, i sweatdropped at him "This is lame so you can count me out, we finished today's mission i'm out of here"Sasuke said walking off.

I smirked and nudged Naruto a bit, he smirked too "What if he has lips?"he asked and Sasuke stopped "Like a blimp?"he added, i snickered with him as Sasuke swayed "Or giant buck teeth?"i asked, now having lived with the guy i have seen Kakashi's face, i'm pretty neutral about it but unless asked i decided not to say anything as this was way more fun then any lame D-rank mission.

With that Sasuke was squarely on board, later we treated Kakashi to ramen "Well this is out of the ordinary, three of you treating me to lunch? I wouldn't be if it snowed on me"then a pile of snow dropped on him, Sasuke held up a board reading what we all said "He fell for it!"

"You know what i mean?"Kakashi asked, that scenario was just something he constructed, the next scenario Kakashi came up with was the ramen exploding in his face with the same end result "Is that the idea?"he asked, yet another scenario before any of us got a word in.

This time a giant boxing glove hit him and sent him flying across the road and hitting the fence ending with the same result except Teuchi the owner of Ichiraku ramen and his daughter Ayame got in on it, "Well? Come on you guys are up to something right?"Kakashi asked.

"Don't be ridiculous Kakashi, you just got out of the hospital, relax have some ramen, read your pervy books and just enjoy"i told him waving off his concerns as the ramen was served, Sasuke and Naruto watched VERY closely as Kakashi started taking off his mask when Ino and her team barged in blocking the view.

"Hey Sasuke, what a coincidence!"Ino said and somehow we got into a fight, Kakashi was done super quick but Teuchi and Ayame were totally love struck, "Okay now i'm curious"Naruto and Sasuke said and i just rolled my eyes.

Back in the alley"That's it! Nothing's gonna stop me from seeing that face"Naruto suddenly announced "Okay but do you have any idea as to how?"i asked "Don't you worry, we'll see it one way or another"he said trying to scare me with the flashlight thing again, i glared a bit this time "We'll just tail him around for the day, he'll take off the mask eventually"Sasuke said and again walked off.

So Sasuke, Naruto and I followed Kakashi around we lost him pretty quick though and then he appeared behind us "Hey what are you three doing? Do you guys need me for something?"he asked, we shook our head "No not really"we said all together, Kakashi was a little sceptical but let it drop.

We met in the alley again "Hey how'd he figure out we were tailing him huh?"Naruto asked "It's obvious, he's a jounin, even then we're in a group so we're easier to detect rather then spread out"i said, Sasuke nodded "Umiko has a point we should split"he said and walked off again, Sasuke and i went to wait in a tea shop as Naruto went to tail Kakashi first.

~Naruto~

I found Kakashi-sensei walking out of a book store and followed him but then i lost him just as quickly, disappointed i walked to the tea house where Umiko and Sasuke were and told them i had lost him.

Instead of shadowing Kakashi like the plan since i knew his guard was up now that he knew we were following him, so instead i went through every one of his photos, a few had me in them too but i didn't find a single one where Kakashi didn't have a mask on, i went to the tea house to find Naruto and Sasuke looking a little messy and sloppy and also holding hands, deciding not to question it i told them i lost Kakashi too, Sasuke went next but he had no luck either-

Again we met at the alley "There has to be a better way then this! What about pictures?"Naruto asked "I checked, there's not a single one where Kakashi doesn't have a mask on"i said, okay i lied a bit, i had found one, it was one with me in it too, i was super little like i had probably just been dropped off for Kakashi to take care of, he was just smiling with me in his arms without his mask on as baby me was sleeping, this picture was my little secret.

"There has to be one where he doesn't have a mask on!"Naruto yelled "The photo submitted to the hokage registration form, that should be a picture of him not wearing a mask but of course it's a top secret document getting your hands on it won't be an easy task"this total stranger said walking over.

"Who're you supposed to be?"i asked crossing my arms, this guy, there's something familiar about him, i just can't put my finger on it though "Oh excuse my poor manners i'm Sakeya, i'm a photographer i travel from east to west looking for stories"he said "Not north or south?"Naruto asked, Sakeya chuckled "Of course there too, anyway i was on the hunt for a scoop and i happen to overhear your fascinating conversation"he said.

"You're right that the registration form must show your face but you're also right about them being top secret"Sasuke muttered "So listen guys will you let me tag along on this little adventure?"Sakeya asked "Hey don't change the subject, even if we do let you tag along the security around those documents is no joke, what's your plan to get past that wise guy? Also why do you even wanna tag along?"i asked.

"Well if i were to get a picture of this Kakashi without a mask on i'm sure it would be a great scoop even if it would be hushed up i can make money off of it"Sakeya said, seriously it's weirding me out how familiar this guy seems, think Umiko clearly you've seen him before.

"Hey when you get the money will you treat us to ramen?"Naruto asked "Sure, i'll even throw in some Gyosa(i'm probably spelling that wrong, you are welcome to shred me to pieces) and Sushi in too"Sakeya said "Now this is getting interesting"Sasuke said.

We waited until night and snuck to where they kept the secret documents "So wise guy, what's your oh so marvelous plan if you even have one?"i asked turning to Sakeya, closer up i knew instantly why this guy was so familiar, ugh i can such a dunce at times, i kept quiet though "Well i used to an ANBU ninja, so don't worry"he said, i sweatdropped a bit but followed his lead anyway as we snuck inside where the documents were all kept.

I have actually snuck in here more times then i can count so picking the lock was like clock work for me, i'm honestly surprised a lock this easy to pick is their best security "Is this actually okay?"Sasuke asked "Don't worry i've broken in here a million times"i whispered back and felt the burning sting of a glare on the back of my head.

We went inside the room and looked through the files, honestly they had no organisational skills whatsoever, unless making them all mixed up like this was to trick any enemy looking for info, anyway Sakeya found the file and we went over to him as he proceed to slowly take out the papers "Don't move"someone behind us said.

"Crap"i muttered and tossed a smoke bomb grabbing the three guys and flashing out of there, i sighed a bit once outside "That was way too close for comfort"i muttered "Hey you grabbed the registration thing right?"Naruto asked Sakeya, seemed he had 'accidentally' dropped it.

I sighed a bit "I'm done, i've seen his face a ton of times anyway, i'm going home"I waved to Sasuke and Naruto not staying for any begging and just flashing off and going home, man was i in for a lecture.

(A/N: and yes i decided to combine the episode this chapter was named after as well as episode 469 of Shippuden A special mission, which was based on the manga version where Kakashi's face is revealed)
