this may be the last rant you see of me posting as net neutrality may be repealing tomorrow. rn you may be like "tf is this gURL TALKING ABOUT?!?!" well net neutrality is a law that makes all isps (internet service providers) treat everything on the internet the same. this makes it illegal to charge different bits of data on the internet differently because of its category or content. what the FCC (federal communications commission) is trying to do it to repeal it. only Congress can stop it and there's literally only a few hours left to decide. if this DOES get repealed, then everything will change forever. unless you can afford it, you may not even be able to use social media or type up a RESEARCH PAPER. Imagine going up to your teacher and saying "i couldn't do this paper because i couldn't afford to." this means no Uber, Spotify, Wikipedia, YouTube, gmail, Instagram, homeschooling, online games, online shopping and more. If you CAN afford ALL the packages, it'll first cost you a LOT of money and second, your parents can and will see ALL the websites you visit and EVERYTHING you do...awkward. this will affect the way people get jobs, study, learn, be entertained, everything. unless if you're filthy rich, we're all basically going back to the 60's. This will benefit no one but the ISPs and if you're not outraged, then you're not paying attention. i tried to explain it the best I could but anyways...the fate of the internet is in your hands. test RESIST to 50409 to protect #netneutrality
