College mom-to-be

Chapter 3

I wake up Sunday morning to Kate attempting to make breakfast when we both know she couldn't cook to save her own life. I walk out and pull her out of the kitchen and make both of us pancakes. We sit down and eat in silence once were done she cleans the dishes since I cooked which is usually how it goes. I sit down on the couch in our living room and turn on a re-run of the X- Factor. Kate gets done and comes to sit next to me. After like two minutes of her staring at me I look over.

"What?" I ask.

She stays quiet for a second and then says, "What happened with you and conner Friday night?!" Shes says growing a bigger smile at each word, "I was going to ask yesterday but you kinda just locked yourself away."

"Yeah, sorry I was thinking a lot", I laughed, "but how'd you know his name was conner?"

She drops her jaw in shock and literally yells at me, "HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW HIS NAME IS CONNER?!" I raise my hand as if I was gonna slap her but she knew I wouldn't. "Sorry, but seriously. Conner is captain of the football, basketball, and baseball team! He's not interested in girls, I mean he's not interested in boys definitely but he tells people he doesn't have time for a relationship due to sports. He's THE HOTTEST guy on campus, he's a junior here and YOU WERE WITH HIM?!?!"

"KATEE!!" I playfully shook her because she wouldn't stop yelling, but I guess getting to know the guy is out of the question now since he doesn't have "time" for people. "I didn't know any of that but honestly I can't remember anything. All I remember is I was dancing with a guy, obviously Conner, and then the next I'm waking up naked in his bed?" I tell.

"Lindsey that is not like you! I didn't think you'd give up your v-card before you were married, especially not to a guy you don't know?!"

I know..... It's really not. The rest of the day Kate and I decide we need to have a bestfriends day before school starts and we watch movies all day. By the time it's 1 in the morning we've watched the whole twilight series. Honestly I would have picked Jacob. I know Jacob's supposed to be with renesmee and Bella's gotta be with Edward to have the baby but seriously team Jacob all the way! I fall asleep thinking about what college will be like in the morning. Oh gosh. This should be interesting.

Monday morning I wake up and take a shower, eat cereal (I had to eat cocoa puffs.... COCOA PUFFS! cuz whats his name ate my cornflakes!), and get my stuff together then get in Kate's dark blue jeep. 5 minutes later and were at campus. I take a deep breath and get out of the vehicle.

"See ya at practice after school. Good luck." She says and I tell her the same and before she walks away. I head towards english literature and we don't do much. We just learn everyone's name and the same goes on throughout the day. It's all boring and I just want it to be over until I walk into my last class, Spanish, and see a familiar face. Two actually. Brayden and Conner are both sitting on the left side of the room talking to each other. I pray neither of them see me but soon enough Brayden notices me and waves me over, I hesitantly walk over and when I do conner looks up and smirks.

"Hey Lindsey. How's your first day of college?" Brayden asks.

"Pretty boring. Wish it was over to be honest. Every Time I walked into a class it all started the same 'Okay class let's get to know everyone'. I'm pretty sure I know everyone on campus now" I laugh, as does he but when I look at Conner he's still just looking up and smirking at me. Starting to feel a little weird I sit down in the empty seat next to Brayden, which was in front of Conner and to the right one. This class went by pretty much the same as the others except in this one, I had someone staring a hole in the back of me.
