Mason and Bentley have been in the neonatal intensive care unit for 2 weeks. Mason is now 8.9 pounds and Bentley is 8.1 pounds. They've done so good. They're eating good and they're growing every day too. Bentley's nestled in my arms right now sleeping away. Conner's next to me with Mason. Amanda and Brayden are talking to us and we're all actually good friends now.

"Alright. You ready to go home Jenkins family?" Mandy, one of the nurses, came up and asked us.

"Are you serious? They're ready?" I asked excitedly. She nodded and handed Conner and I paperwork to fill out. After about a thousand questions, okay I'm exaggerating but it was a lot, we were packing up the baby stuff we had out.

"Ya know, I'm gonna miss seein you everyday." Amanda confessed. "Don't be a stranger alright? We'll hang out once we get outta here too."

"I won't. We'll be talking every day!"

"Alright. Well I'll see you soon!" She gave me a hug and went out the door probably back to here little Maci. Conner and I picked up the baby carriers and put the babies in buckling them up. Adam and Kate bought us another crib and carrier since she knew what they both looked like. That's her baby shower gift to me. Speaking of, we had a baby shower in the hospital lobby a few days ago. We got plenty of stuff and Conner's friends Mason and Derrick decided on congratulating us with painting and putting together Bentley's room since we already had Mason's done. It basically looks just like Mason's room but it's in a different room across the hall from Mason's. We put the boys in the back seat of Conner's truck and pulled out to home finally. They're only 2 weeks and 2 days old but it feels like they're only 2 days. It's gone by to quick. One of them starts to cry which triggers the other one to cry and I realize this is gonna be a little hard now that we're on our own instead of being with the nurses and doctors. We stop at a red light and I take the chance to climb into the back seat in between the two carriers and try and sooth them. They finally quiet down as we pull into the driveway. We're greeted by a happy little puppy at the door way. Lexie has been staying here taking care of everything.

"Hey sista. How's my nephews?" she takes one of the carriers from Conner which happens to be Mason and takes him out. He starts to squirm but she quickly starts to gently bounce him and 'baby talk' to him. He starts showing off his adorable little smile for her which makes her the happiest little aunt ever. I grab the sleeping Bentley from his car seat and walk up to his room. I place him in his crib and turn on the baby monitor for the first time. I take one last look at him and slip out of the room and into Mason's room where Lexie and Conner are putting Mason to sleep. I turn on his monitor and all three of us go out and downstairs to the living room.

"Alright you guys. I made you both dinner since you probably have been stressed out. I'll watch the twins all night, the only thing you have to do is make your bottles."

"Lexie you're the best sister ever thank you so much." I give her a giant hug and so does Conner then she disappears upstairs and probably into the guest bedroom.

"She's great." Conner said. We didn't even bother to eat really. We literally went straight into our bedroom and as soon as we closed our eyes we fell into a deep sleep. Thank you Lexie!

"GOODMORNING!" Lexie yelled as she came into the room. "Breakfast in bed!" I have the best sister......

"Okay I just want to know how you stayed up with the twins all night and are so happy." I was honestly confused about it. I love sleep so I don't know how she did this.

"They were actually pretty good for me." I hate her... Just kidding. I nodded and took the peice of bacon she had on the plate she gave to me. "What time is it?"

"11" WHAT?!

"You let me sleep in that long?! I mean I'm not complaining but I don't want you to have the babies to much. They get pretty exhausting."

"It's fine Linds. You and Conner needed it last night." I said a thank you and ate the rest of my food quickly so I could go see my munchkins. I took the last bite and ran upstairs to Mason's room where he lay peacefully in his crib. i picked him up and picked up Bentley also once I got in his room. I walked down stairs and laid them on little play mats in the living room. Once they were good and playing with the little hanging toys I turned on the tv and started watching one of my favorite shows. Friends. It's old but it's always funny to me. As I laughed at a joke that was told Conner walks through the front door.

"Hey how was classes?"

"Pretty good. How's the boys?" he said sitting down in front of them.

"Good. They're a bunch of giggle boxes." They really were. Any time I looked at them they were smiling or giggling at each other. Lexie walked in sitting in front of Bentley and started playing with him. The result was, of course, Bentley giggling. I couldn't help but laugh at the chubby little cheeks showing. Conner's friends pulled into the driveway and I went to let them in. Their girlfriends wanted to meet the babies. Talon and Mary-Ann walked through the followed Derrick and his new girlfriend Maia, followed by Liam and Danica, lastly Mason and his girlfriend who I don't know the name of yet walked in.

"This is Carmen" and now I know her name.

They all crowd around the twins and I decide to make lunch for everyone and go to the kitchen. After I make sandwiches for everyone I grab a bag of doritos and cups to set around the table. Once they all see me the boys race to the chairs. I laugh and pour everyone a glass of lemonade. We all eat and Talon talks about Conner and him growing up back in Tennessee. Mostly embarrassing stories but I laugh through every word he tells us. Conner isn't so much laughing but scolding Talon as he tells us story after story. Next thing you know both of them are tackling each other out in the front yard. Conner wins which I kinda already knew was going to happen. I laugh and we all go back to where Lexie, Mason, and Bentley are. They stay till it gets dark and Derrick had his guitar and wanted to sing the boys to sleep. It worked and they fell sound asleep. Once it was already 10 they were piling into the car they came in and left. I checked on the boys once more and Conner and I went to our room.

"I love our family angel." Conner confessed as I lay on his chest.

"Me too. It's perfect."
