- The boy in Angela's house calls himself Newt and has friends who are named Thomas and Minho
- Both Angela and Thomas are confused and have no idea what's happening

Chapter 4 - I'm Out Here On The Other Side

"I think I know what's going on," Angela said.

"Enlighten us," Thomas said.

"I think this is all a prank or a trick by Wes or the crew! They must've known that you were playing Newt in The Maze Runner, so they hired this actor to trick you- well us. I'm right aren't I?" Angela took Newt's silence as a yes. "I have to admit, you were really convincing. That was really go-"

"What are you bloody talking about?" Newt cut her off. "I'm no buggin' actor!"

"He's really good," Angela whispered to Thomas. "He even has the slang."

"Um Angela, I don't think he's an actor."

"Why?"

"You really think someone planned to have him almost die last night because of your drunk driving for a prank?"

"I wasn't drunk! And I didn't hit him! He's fine see lo-" Angela noticed that Newt was favoring one leg over the other. "Oh no I did hit him!" She gasped. "His leg is hurt!"

Before Angela could be hysterical, Newt stopped her. "No this wasn't because you hit me. I had this limp because of...an accident. A different accident," he clarified. "Almost a year ago, I think."

"Oh good. I mean, I'm sorry. Wait a second- he even has the limp. Didn't you have to put a rock on your shoe to remind yourself of Newt's limp?"

"Wait Angela. I think he's telling the truth."

"What?"

"I think he really is the real Newt."

"Why?"

"Can you not talk about me like I'm not here?" Newt chimed in.

Thomas took the remote control and handed it over to Newt. "Knock yourself out with the TV. The adults are going to talk."

Newt warily took the remote from Thomas. He went to the couch giving them confused looks. Thomas then pulled Angela to a place where they could talk privately which was her room.

"What are you on about Thomas? Last night you were scared to leave him alone because he could steal something, now you're on his side? You believe his story?"

"I think so."

"How could you believe something that impossible?"

"Because of (Y/N)."

Of course Angela knew all about the story that (Y/N) kept on saying. She felt sorry for the girl actually. She believed so hard that she was taken to the Maze and spent months there when she was only three days in a coma.

"Call me crazy I don't care. But seriously, why would you think he'd appear the day when (Y/N) is taken to the asylum?"

"Coincidence?"
