chapter 1

Beatrice's POV
It was a typical day here in class with the typical teacher teaching a typical lesson in a typical class. Ms. Smith has been babbling about the same lesson from last year over and over. My class is still the same sleepy section since 2 years ago. They never change. And I'm here, sitting on my chair, drawing. Not listening to the teachers words because she already taught us this lesson. I was finishing up my drawing until someone tapped me on my back.

"Hey Beatrice, what you doing?" Asked my best friend Allice. "Oh just finishing up my drawing, wanna see?" I asked. "Sure." She said as I showed her my drawing. "Oh Beatrice, this is so beautiful. Can you teach me how to draw like this sometime?" She asked. "Sure." I said then suddenly ms. Smith caught us talking. "Beatrice, Alice. Care to share what you two have been talking about?" She asked. "Umm no maam." We both said. "All right then, now would you please kindly listen." She said. "Yes maam." We said then she continued teaching as Alice and I exchanged looks then giggled silently. Ringg!!! Ringg!!! "That's the bell class, you are dismissed." Ms. Smith said. "Thank you maam." The whole class said then left.

I was just by the balcony, letting my mind wander off as always until I saw a boy that I have never seen in the school before. He stared at me then smiled and forced me to smile back and continued what I was doing. "Maybe he's a new student." I thought.

Boy's POV
I was a bit bored in my first day here in my new school. So I decided to go to the place that my friend was telling me about where he relaxes. So when I came up in this balcony I saw a girl in my age stare at me and I couldn't do anything but smile and suprisingly she smiled back. "She's cute." I thought as I stared down from the balcony until the bell rang and I was going back to the classroom until we bumped each other by the door.

"Agh! S-sorry!" I stuttered. "It's all right." She said as we both stared at each other's eyes.

It felt like it was 2 minutes long then I heard footsteps coming. "Oh, you go first." I said as I opened the door for her. "Thanks." She said until the teacher came and saw that we are not back in class yet. "What are you two doing here, didn't you hear the bell?" The teacher said. "Oh, sorry sr. Brian, we are about to go back." I said. "Fine, you two hurry up now or you'll be late." He said. "Okay sr." We both said as we saw sr. Brian leave then we exchanged faces then laughed.

"Oh, I'm Beatrice by the way." She said. Beatrice huh? She's cute. "I'm Chris, I'm an exchange student here." I said as we both smiled at each other then left.
