Chapter 15

Chris's POV
After I told my story to Alice, Jake, and Beatrice. They suggested that we should have a sleepover someday. I was cool with it. But I needed to meet Alice's mom so she could get her mom's approval for the sleep over. Jake and Alice already went home, and Beatrice and I are left.

"Hey Chris, its still early, wanna meet my mom?" Beatrice asked.
"Woah hey, are you sure she won't hate me?" I asked.
"Psh nope, my mom is very cool and I think you'll like her." She said.
"Well okay then, I trust you." I said
"Great, then let's go to my place." She said then we left.

We were holding hands as we were walking  to B's house, to keep the silence away, we told each other stories and jokes as we walked.

*Timeskip*

We reached B's house. B went in first then I followed.

"Hi mom, I have someone to introduce." B said as she came in and kissed her mom.
"Hi honey, who is it?" She said then turned around.
"Hi Auntie, my name's Chris. Its really nice to meet you" I said shyly then held out my hand.
"Oh so you're the Chris that stole my girl's heart. Its nice to meet you too!!" She cheerfully said then shook my hand.
"Haha yeah, I gues I am." I said while B winked at me.
"Soo what brings you here?" B's mom asked.
"Oh well, B thought that it would be nice to get ua to know each other more." I said.
"Ohh well isn't that great, oh by the way. Dinner is almost done, would you care to join us?" She added.
"Sure!" I said.
"Okay mom, I'll go upstairs to change for a while." B said.
"Okay honey. And you Chris why don't you sit here and watch some TV while I set up the food." B's mom said.
"Oh no its okay auntie, I can help you prepare, and while we prepare, we could also chat a little." I said.
"Well okay then." She said then we went to the kitchen

I helped B's mom set up the table, plates, and the food. We talked about my parents, B's dad and some more stuff.

Beatrice's POV
I went upstairs for a while so Chris can get comfy with my mom, and also to change my clothes. As I went downstairs, I heard my mom and Chris talking and laughing.

"Seems like they're having fun." I thought as I went in the Dining room.
"Seems like you two are getting along." I said as they finished preparing.
"Oh hey honey, yeah, Chris is quite interesting." Mom said.
"Hey B, dinner's ready." Chris added.
"Oh cool, let's eat then, wouldn't want the food getting cold." I said as we all sat together.

Chris's POV
We all started eating, we talked, laughed, had fun. It made me a bit emotional because I missed this kind of dinner, with a family. I must've been spacing out again because I heard B calling me and staring at me worriedly.

"Chris? What's wrong? Is it the food?" B's mom asked.
"Hm? Oh sorry auntie, its not the food. Its just that I missed this kind of dinner, with a family." I said
"Awww its okay Chris, your always welcome to stay here with us whenever you feel lonely." B's mom said.
"Yea Chris, we're always here for you." B said.
"Aww thanks guys, I really appreciate it." I said then we continued eating.

When we finished eating, we began to clean up everything and I was ready to go back home.

"Hey Chris, its getting late, why don't you stay here for the night?" B's mom said.
"Oh no, I couldn't possibly-" I said
"Its okay Chris, I insist." She said
"Well okay then." I said.
" You can sleep in my room if you want." B said.
"If its okay with your mom." I added
"Its okay, I trust you Chris." B's mom said.
"Thank you mom!!!" B said cheerfully.
"You're welcome, now you go show Chris around and get ready for bed." She said then went upstairs.

After B's mom went upstairs, B was showing me around the house, like where the bathroom is and stuff. Then she showed me her room, it was a pink room with a closet on the side, a working table with lots of paperwork on it, a queen sized bed, her bed is full of stuffed toys.

"You can sleep next to me since there's all this space to begin with." B said.
"Oh okay then." I said as I looked around the room
"You go freshen up while I'll just finish my homework." B said.
"Okay." I said then went to the bathroom

When I finished using the bathroom, I went to B's room only to find her sleeping on her working desk. I looked at her for a little bit and found her cute. I then carried her to her bed because her position on the desk is not incredibly good for the spine. I tucked her in and layed beside her. I kissed her forehead and said "goodnight" then I drifted off.
